When I please, I will punish them; nations will be gathered against them to put them in bonds for their double sin.

I will punish them when I want to. Nations will gather together to fight against them. They will put them in chains because they have committed so many sins.

When I please, I will discipline them, and nations shall be gathered against them when they are bound up for their double iniquity.

Now whenever it fits my plan, I will attack you, too. I will call out the armies of the nations to punish you for your multiplied sins.

『耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我要使你們手中的兵器，就是你們在城外與巴比倫王和圍困你們的迦勒底人打仗的兵器翻轉過來，又要使這些都聚集在這城中。 (cunpt)

錫安的民哪，你要疼痛劬勞，彷彿產難的婦人；因為你必從城裏出來，住在田野，到巴比倫去。在那裏要蒙解救；在那裏耶和華必救贖你脫離仇敵的手。現在有許多國的民聚集攻擊你，說：願錫安被玷污！願我們親眼見她遭報！他們卻不知道耶和華的意念，也不明白他的籌劃。他聚集他們，好像把禾捆聚到禾場一樣。錫安的民哪，起來踹穀吧！我必使你的角成為鐵，使你的蹄成為銅。你必打碎多國的民，將他們的財獻與耶和華，將他們的貨獻與普天下的主。 (cunpt)

我就要將你一切相歡相愛的和你一切所恨的都聚集來，從四圍攻擊你；又將你的下體露出，使他們看盡了。 (cunpt)

因為我必聚集萬國與耶路撒冷爭戰，城必被攻取，房屋被搶奪，婦女被玷污，城中的民一半被擄去；剩下的民仍在城中，不致剪除。那時，耶和華必出去與那些國爭戰，好像從前爭戰一樣。 (cunpt)

這樣，我就止息向你發的忿怒，我的忌恨也要離開你，我要安靜不再惱怒。 (cunpt)

他們雖在列邦中賄買人，現在我卻要聚集懲罰他們；他們因君王和首領所加的重擔日漸衰微。 (cunpt)
