When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.

That’s how everything was arranged in the holy tent. The priests entered it at regular times. They went into the outer room to do their work for God and others.

These preparations having thus been made, the priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties,

有一次，撒迦利亞在神面前按著班次執行祭司的職務，照祭司的慣例抽中了籤，進入主的聖殿燒香。燒香的時候，眾人都在外面祈禱。有主的使者站在香壇右邊，向他顯現。

牠狂妄自大，要高及天象之君；牠除掉獻給天象之君的常獻祭，又拆毀他的聖所。

烏西雅強盛起來，就心高氣傲，以致自尋毀滅，竟冒犯耶和華他的神；他進了耶和華的殿，要在香壇上燒香。跟隨烏西雅進去的，有亞撒利雅祭司，還有耶和華的祭司八十個，都是英勇的人。他們阻止烏西雅王，對他說：“烏西雅啊，給耶和華燒香不是你應作的事，而是亞倫的子孫作祭司的事，他們是分別為聖作燒香的事；請離開聖所吧，因為你作了不應該作的事了，你必不能從耶和華神那裡得著尊榮。”於是烏西雅十分忿怒，手裡拿著香爐正要燒香，他向眾祭司發怒的時候，就在耶和華的殿裡香壇旁邊眾祭司的面前，他的額上忽然長出了大痲風。

亞倫要在壇上燒香料做的香，每天早晨整理燈的時候，要燒這香。傍晚，亞倫點燈的時候，也要燒這香，在耶和華面前作你們世世代代不斷的香。
