實際上，如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在那些汙穢的人身上，能使他們分別為聖、肉身潔淨，

若牛羊之血與牝犢灰、灑於不潔者、尚能聖之、致形軀得潔、

若牛羊之血、與焚犢之灰、以灑污穢者、猶能潔其身、

若牛羊之血、與焚化牝犢之灰、灑於不潔者、能潔其身、

夫以山羊牡牛之血、與夫牝牛之灰、灑於汙染之人、尚能潔其身而聖之；

The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.

The blood of goats and bulls is sprinkled on people. So are the ashes of a young cow. They are sprinkled on people the law called“ unclean.” The people are sprinkled to make them holy. That makes them“ clean” on the outside.

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,

Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity.

For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling them that have been defiled, sanctify unto the cleanness of the flesh:

For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity,

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,

「耶和華所吩咐的律法中，其中一條律例這樣說：要吩咐以色列人，把一頭健康、沒有殘疾、未曾負軛的紅母牛牽到你這裏來，交給以利亞撒祭司。他要把牛牽到營外，人就在他面前把牛宰了。以利亞撒祭司要用指頭蘸這牛的血，向會幕前面彈七次。人要在他眼前焚燒這母牛，牛的皮、肉、血和糞都要焚燒。祭司要把香柏木、牛膝草和朱紅色紗都丟在焚燒牛的火中。祭司要洗衣服，用水洗身，然後才可以進營；祭司必不潔淨到晚上。焚燒牛的人也要用水洗衣服，用水洗身，必不潔淨到晚上。一個潔淨的人要收母牛的灰，存放在營外潔淨的地方，為以色列會眾留作除污穢的水之用。這是為除罪用的。收取母牛灰的人要洗衣服，必不潔淨到晚上。這要成為以色列人和寄居在他們中間的外人永遠的定例。「摸了任何人死屍的，必不潔淨七天。那人要在第三天和第七天潔淨自己，他就潔淨了。若他不在第三天和第七天潔淨自己，他就不潔淨了。凡摸了死屍，就是死了的人的屍體，又不潔淨自己的，就玷污了耶和華的帳幕，這人必從以色列中剪除；因為那除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他就不潔淨，污穢還在他身上。「若有人死在帳棚裏，條例是這樣：凡進那帳棚的，和所有在帳棚裏的人，都必不潔淨七天。凡敞開的，沒有用繩子紮好蓋子的器皿，也不潔淨。任何人在田野裏摸了被刀殺的，或自然死的，或人的骨頭，或墳墓，就必不潔淨七天。要為這不潔淨的人拿一些燒好的除罪灰放在器皿裏，倒上清水。一個潔淨的人要拿牛膝草蘸在這水中，把水彈在帳棚上，和一切器皿以及帳棚內的人身上，又要彈在那摸了骨頭，或摸了被殺的或自然死的，或摸了墳墓的人身上。那潔淨的人要在第三天和第七天把水彈在不潔淨的人身上，在第七天潔淨那人。那人要洗衣服，用水洗澡，到晚上就潔淨了。但任何不潔淨的人，他若不潔淨自己，那人要從會中剪除，因為他玷污了耶和華的聖所，除污穢的水沒有灑在他身上，他是不潔淨的。這要成為你們永遠的定例。此外，那彈除污穢水的人也要洗衣服。凡碰除污穢水的，必不潔淨到晚上。

他要取一些公牛的血，用手指彈在櫃蓋的前面，就是東面，又在櫃蓋的前面用手指彈血七次。「他要宰那隻為百姓作贖罪祭的公山羊，把羊的血帶入幔子內，把血彈在櫃蓋的上面和前面，好像彈公牛的血一樣。因以色列人的不潔淨和過犯，就是他們一切的罪，他要為聖所贖罪；因會幕在他們不潔淨之中，他也要為會幕照樣做。

既然你們因順從真理而潔淨了自己的心靈，能真誠愛弟兄，就該以清潔的心彼此切實相愛。

求你用牛膝草潔淨我，我就乾淨；求你洗滌我，我就比雪更白。

又藉着信潔淨了他們的心，他們和我們之間並沒有甚麼分別。

那凡專心尋求神耶和華－他列祖的神，卻未照聖所潔淨禮自潔的人。」

你要這樣做來潔淨他們：要用潔淨的水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃刮全身，洗淨衣服，潔淨自己。
