因是凡賴彼而歸天主者、彼常能為其轉求、而拯救之也。

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

People now come to God through him. And he is able to save them completely and for all time. Jesus lives forever. He prays for them.

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (niv)

He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. (niv)

If only I knew where to find him; if only I could go to his dwelling! (niv)
