各位蒙爱的人哪，我们即使这样说，还是深信那关于你们的更好之事，并且是有关救恩的，

然而親愛的，關於你們的事、我們雖這樣說，卻還深信你們有較好的表現、能引致你們之得救。

各位蒙愛的人哪，我們即使這樣說，還是深信那關於你們的更好之事，並且是有關救恩的，

愛友乎、我雖言是、然深信爾行必愈乎此、而近乎救也、

我言此、望良朋、無若背教者、亦望爾得救、

所愛者乎、我雖如此言、猶信爾不至如此、亦信爾必得救、

親愛之同道乎、吾人言雖如此、心中對爾等實懷厚望、深信爾等距救恩實不遠矣。

Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case— the things that have to do with salvation.

Dear friends, we have to say these things. But we are sure of better things in your case. We are talking about the things that have to do with being saved.

Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things— things that belong to salvation.

Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don’t believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things, things that come with salvation.

Even though we are speaking this way, dearly loved friends, in your case we are confident of things that are better and that pertain to salvation.

But, beloved, we are convinced of better things regarding you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we are speaking in this way.

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有份、並嘗過神的話的美味，和來世權能的人，若再離棄真道，就不可能使他們重新懊悔了；因為他們親自把神的兒子重釘十字架，公然羞辱他。

既然他得以完全，就為凡順從他的人成了永遠得救的根源，

我深信，那在你們心裏動了美好工作的，到了耶穌基督的日子必完成這工作。我為你們眾人有這樣的想法原是應當的，因為你們常在我心裏；無論我是在捆鎖中，在辯明並證實福音的時候，你們都與我一同蒙恩。

我們卻不是退縮以致沉淪的那等人，而是有信心以致得生命的人。

因為，神救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來，訓練我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世過克己、正直、敬虔的生活，等候福樂的盼望，並等候至大的神和我們的救主耶穌基督的榮耀顯現。他為我們的緣故捨己，為了要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心為善。

因為依着神的意思而憂愁，就生出沒有懊悔的悔改來，以致得救；但世俗的憂愁叫人死。

信而受洗的必然得救，不信的必被定罪。

「心靈貧窮的人有福了！因為天國是他們的。哀慟的人有福了！因為他們必得安慰。謙和的人有福了！因為他們必承受土地。飢渴慕義的人有福了！因為他們必得飽足。憐憫人的人有福了！因為他們必蒙憐憫。清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見神。締造和平的人有福了！因為他們必稱為神的兒子。為義受迫害的人有福了！因為天國是他們的。「人若因我辱罵你們，迫害你們，捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們就有福了！要歡喜快樂，因為你們在天上的賞賜是很多的。在你們以前的先知，人也是這樣迫害他們。」

那至高無上、永遠長存、名為聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的所在，卻與心靈痛悔的謙卑人同住；要使謙卑的人心靈甦醒，使痛悔的人內心復甦。

不論猶太人和希臘人，我都已證明他們當在神面前悔改，信靠我們的主耶穌。

我們若忽略這麼大的救恩，怎能逃避呢？這拯救起先是主親自講的，後來是聽見的人給我們證實了。

所以，我親愛的，你們要遠避拜偶像的事。

你們同情那些遭監禁的人，也欣然忍受你們的家業被人搶去，因為你們知道自己有更美好更長存的家業。

在我們的父神面前，不住地記念你們因信心所做的工作，因愛心所受的勞苦，因盼望我們主耶穌基督所存的堅忍。神所愛的弟兄啊，我知道你們是蒙揀選的；

聖靈的果子就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。

眾人聽見這些話，就不說話了，只歸榮耀給神，說：「這樣看來，神也賜恩給外邦人，使他們悔改得生命了。」

因為在基督耶穌裏，受割禮不受割禮都沒有功效，惟獨使人發出仁愛的信心才有功效。

因為神並非不公義，竟忘記你們的工作和你們為他的名所顯的愛心，就是你們過去和現在伺候聖徒的愛心。
