Some land drinks the rain that falls on it. It produces a crop that is useful to those who farm the land. That land receives God’s blessing.

就如一块田地，吃过屡次下的雨水，生长菜蔬，合乎耕种的人用，就从神得福；

就如一块田地吸收过屡次下的雨水，生长蔬菜，合乎耕种的人用，就从上帝得福。

一块经常受到雨水滋润的田地若为耕种的人长出庄稼来，就蒙上帝赐福；

这就像一块地，吸收了常常下在它上面的雨水，如果长出对种植的人有用的菜蔬，就从神那里得福。

要知道，当一块田地吸收了常常降在它上面的雨水，并且为种地的人长出有用菜蔬时，它就享受从神而来的祝福；

田地吸收屢次下在地上的雨水，產生着青菜、對地之所為而被耕種的人有了用處，就從上帝享受祝福；

要知道，當一塊田地吸收了常常降在它上面的雨水，並且為種地的人長出有用菜蔬時，它就享受從神而來的祝福；

蓋地既霑屢降之雨、而生百蔬、適耕者之用、則受祝於上帝、

譬如土壤、時雨潤之、百物生之、農夫利之、上帝培之、

譬諸地土、屢得雨潤而生百物、供耕者之用、則天主必降福於斯地、

譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。

When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing.

For the ground that drinks the rain that often falls on it and that produces vegetation useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God.

For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;

For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;

For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:

For ground that has drunk the rain that has often fallen on it and that produces vegetation useful to those it is cultivated for receives a blessing from God.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

For the ground that has soaked up the rain that frequently falls on it and yields useful vegetation for those who tend it receives a blessing from God.

For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it and produces a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;

I will pour out water on the thirsty land. I will make streams flow on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your children. I will pour out my blessing on their children after them.

Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord comes. See how the farmer waits for the land to produce its rich crop. See how patient the farmer is for the fall and spring rains.

Your hearts are as hard as a field that has not been plowed. If you change your ways, you will produce good crops. So plant the seeds of doing what is right. Then you will harvest the fruit of your faithful love. It is time to seek the Lord. When you do, he will come and shower his blessings on you.

The springs give water to all the wild animals. The wild donkeys satisfy their thirst.The birds in the sky build nests by the waters. They sing among the branches.The Lord waters the mountains from his palace high in the clouds. The earth is filled with the things he has made.

Land of Judah, don’t be afraid. Be glad and full of joy. The Lord has done great things.Wild animals, don’t be afraid. The desert grasslands are turning green again. The trees are bearing their fruit. The vines and fig trees are producing rich crops.People of Zion, be glad. Be joyful because of what the Lord your God has done. He has given you the right amount of rain in the fall. That’s because he is faithful. He has sent you plenty of showers. He has sent fall and spring rains alike, just as he did before.Your threshing floors will be covered with grain. Olive oil and fresh wine will spill over from the places where they are stored.The Lord says,“ I sent a great army of locusts to attack you. They included common locusts, giant locusts, young locusts and other locusts. I will make up for the years they ate your crops.You will have plenty to eat. It will satisfy you completely. Then you will praise me. I am the Lord your God. I have done wonderful things for you. My people will never again be put to shame.

You take care of the land and water it. You make it able to grow many crops. You fill your streams with water. You do that to provide the people with grain. That’s what you have decided to do for the land.You water its rows. You smooth out its bumps. You soften it with showers. And you bless its crops.You bring the year to a close with huge crops. You provide more than enough food.The grass grows thick even in the desert. The hills are dressed with gladness.The meadows are covered with flocks and herds. The valleys are dressed with grain. They sing and shout for joy.

The Lord will give you more than you need. You will have many children. Your livestock will have many little ones. Your crops will do very well. All of that will happen in the land he promised to give you. He promised this to your people of long ago.The Lord will open up the heavens. That’s where he stores his riches. He will send rain on your land at just the right time. He’ll bless everything you do. You will lend money to many nations. But you won’t have to borrow from any of them.

The rain and the snow come down from the sky. They do not return to it without watering the earth. They make plants come up and grow. The plants produce seeds for farmers. They also produce food for people to eat.The words I speak are like that. They will not return to me without producing results. They will accomplish what I want them to. They will do exactly what I sent them to do.“ My people, you will go out of Babylon with joy. You will be led out of it in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song as you go. And all the trees in the fields will clap their hands.Juniper trees will grow where there used to be bushes that had thorns on them. And myrtle trees will grow where there used to be thorns. That will bring me great fame. It will be a lasting reminder of what I can do. It will stand forever.”

People like that will receive the Lord’ s blessing. When God their Savior hands down his sentence, it will be in their favor.

So Jacob went to him and kissed him. When Isaac smelled the clothes, he gave Jacob his blessing. He said,“ It really is the smell of my son. It’s like the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed.

I will make them and the places surrounding my holy mountain of Zion a blessing. I will send down rain at the right time. There will be showers of blessing.

Those who go out weeping as they carry seeds to plant will come back singing with joy. They will bring the new crop back with them.

I will send you a great blessing in the sixth year. The land will produce enough for three years.

Bring the entire tenth to the storerooms in my temple. Then there will be plenty of food. Test me this way,” says the Lord.“ Then you will see that I will throw open the windows of heaven. I will pour out so many blessings that you will not have enough room to store them.
