For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.

爾曹為天主名勤勞而施仁愛、素供事聖徒、今仍供事之、天主非不義、必不忘爾之工、

何則、天主不負有心人、對於爾等之工作、爾等之敬愛聖名、供養聖徒、至今未懈、天主必不致忘懷也。

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

God is fair. He will not forget what you have done. He will remember the love you have shown him. You showed it when you helped his people. And you show it when you keep on helping them.

For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

I was in prison, and you came to me.’“ Then the righteous will answer him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you?When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’“ The King will answer them,‘ Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.

He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.

He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said,“ What is it, Lord?” He said to him,“ Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.

you being enriched in everything to all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through much giving of thanks to God,seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Christ and for the generosity of your contribution to them and to all,while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet- smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well- pleasing sacrifice to God.

Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,how in much proof of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.This was not as we had expected, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.So we urged Titus, that as he had made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that you also abound in this grace.I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.On the first day of every week, let each one of you save, as he may prosper, that no collections are made when I come.When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.

and said,‘ Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.

He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him.

Remember me, my God, for good, all that I have done for this people.

Should evil be recompensed for good? For they have dug a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before you to speak good for them, to turn away your wrath from them.

But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem.Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things.

From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

remember all your offerings, and accept your burned sacrifice. Selah.

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated, means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.In those days, she became sick, and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

and for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, my God, for good.

The Rock: his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness who does no wrong, just and right is he.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Yahweh says,“ I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.Israel was holiness to Yahweh, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him will be held guilty. Evil will come on them,”’ says Yahweh.”

May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written,“ that you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment.”But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do.

Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
