何則、天主不負有心人、對於爾等之工作、爾等之敬愛聖名、供養聖徒、至今未懈、天主必不致忘懷也。

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

God is fair. He will not forget what you have done. He will remember the love you have shown him. You showed it when you helped his people. And you show it when you keep on helping them.

For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.’“ Then the righteous will answer Him,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You?When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?’“ And the King will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’

Don’t neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.

We recall, in the presence of our God and Father, your work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ,

The one who oppresses the poor person insults his Maker, but one who is kind to the needy honors Him.

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Looking intently at him, he became afraid and said,“ What is it, lord?” The angel told him,“ Your prayers and your acts of charity have come up as a memorial offering before God.

And whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of My name, since you belong to the Messiah— I assure you: He will never lose his reward.

Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share,

because I hear of your love and faith toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.I pray that your participation in the faith may become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ.For I have great joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he diligently searched for me and found me.May the Lord grant that he obtain mercy from Him on that day. And you know very well how much he ministered at Ephesus.

If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily foodand one of you says to them,“ Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it?In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself.

For there was not a needy person among them, because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,and laid them at the apostles’ feet. This was then distributed for each person’s basic needs.

Now all the believers were together and held all things in common.They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as anyone had a need.

Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality.

You will be enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God.They will glorify God for your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with others through the proof provided by this service.And they will have deep affection for you in their prayers on your behalf because of the surpassing grace of God in you.Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.

We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his need— how can God’s love reside in him?Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action.

So each of the disciples, according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea.

For even in Thessalonica you sent gifts for my need several times.Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account.But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided— a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God granted to the churches of Macedonia:During a severe testing by affliction, their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed into the wealth of their generosity.I testify that, on their own, according to their ability and beyond their ability,they begged us insistently for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints,and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves especially to the Lord, then to us by God’s will.So we urged Titus that just as he had begun, so he should also complete this grace to you.Now as you excel in everything— faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us— excel also in this grace.I am not saying this as a command. Rather, by means of the diligence of others, I am testing the genuineness of your love.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

Now about the collection for the saints: You should do the same as I instructed the Galatian churches.On the first day of the week, each of you is to set something aside and save in keeping with how he prospers, so that no collections will need to be made when I come.When I arrive, I will send with letters those you recommend to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.

and said,‘ Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your acts of charity have been remembered in God’s sight.

Kindness to the poor is a loan to the Lord, and He will give a reward to the lender.

Remember me favorably, my God, for all that I have done for this people.

Should good be repaid with evil? Yet they have dug a pit for me. Remember how I stood before You to speak good on their behalf, to turn Your anger from them.

Right now I am traveling to Jerusalem to serve the saints,for Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.Yes, they were pleased, and indeed are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual benefits, then they are obligated to minister to Jews in material needs.

There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

Now concerning the ministry to the saints, it is unnecessary for me to write to you.

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. She was always doing good works and acts of charity.In those days she became sick and died. After washing her, they placed her in a room upstairs.Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to him who begged him,“ Don’t delay in coming with us.”So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they led him to the room upstairs. And all the widows approached him, weeping and showing him the robes and clothes that Dorcas had made while she was with them.

since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict youand to reward with rest you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels,

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited,does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs.Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth.It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion in keeping with Your abundant, faithful love.

I also arranged for the donation of wood at the appointed times and for the firstfruits. Remember me, my God, with favor.

The Rock— His work is perfect; all His ways are entirely just. A faithful God, without prejudice, He is righteous and true.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the Lord says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.Israel was holy to the Lord, the firstfruits of His harvest. All who ate of it found themselves guilty; disaster came on them.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

Absolutely not! God must be true, even if everyone is a liar, as it is written: That You may be justified in Your words and triumph when You judge.But if our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteousness, what are we to say? I use a human argument: Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath?

I assure you: Whoever receives anyone I send receives Me, and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.
