神四十年之久，又厌烦谁呢？岂不是那些犯罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久，神向谁发怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陈尸旷野的人吗？

神又向谁发怒了四十年之久呢？难道不是那些犯了罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

神四十年之久，又厭煩誰呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

上帝向誰發怒四十年之久呢？豈不是那些犯罪而陳屍在曠野的人嗎？

四十年之久惹上帝發怒的是誰呢？不就是那些犯罪作惡並倒斃在曠野的人嗎？

上帝四十年厭惡誰呢？豈不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人麼？

神又向誰發怒了四十年之久呢？難道不是那些犯了罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

又四十年彼所不悅者誰耶、非干罰而屍仆於野者乎、

上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

天主於四十年間怒誰、非犯罪而屍仆於曠野者乎、

天主所謂：「厭惡斯代、垂四十春」者、又誰耶？非多行不義、卒至暴屍曠野者乎？

And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?

Who was God angry with for 40 years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned? They died in the desert.

And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness?

With whom was God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

你們的屍首必倒在這曠野，並且你們中間凡被數點、從二十歲以外、向我發怨言的， (cunpt)

從前主救了他的百姓出埃及地，後來就把那些不信的滅絕了。這一切的事，你們雖然都知道，我卻仍要提醒你們。 (cunpt)

你當說，耶和華如此說：人的屍首必倒在田野像糞土，又像收割的人遺落的一把禾稼，無人收取。 (cunpt)

至於你們，你們的屍首必倒在這曠野；你們的兒女必在曠野飄流四十年，擔當你們淫行的罪，直到你們的屍首在曠野消滅。 (cunpt)

這些人雖看見我的榮耀和我在埃及與曠野所行的神蹟，仍然試探我這十次，不聽從我的話， (cunpt)

但被數的人中，沒有一個是摩西和祭司亞倫從前在西奈的曠野所數的以色列人，因為耶和華論到他們說：「他們必要死在曠野。」所以，除了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞以外，連一個人也沒有存留。 (cunpt)

耶和華的手也攻擊他們，將他們從營中除滅，直到滅盡。「兵丁從民中都滅盡死亡以後， (cunpt)

弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，都在雲裏、海裏受洗歸了摩西；並且都吃了一樣的靈食，也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨着他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。但他們中間多半是神不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記：「百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。」我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人；也不要試探主，像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。他們遭遇這些事都要作為鑑戒，並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。 (cunpt)
