叫万物都服在他的脚下。”既叫万物都服他，就没有剩下一样不服他的。只是如今我们还不见万物都服他。

使萬物服其足下、既使萬物服之、則不遺一物不服之矣、第迄於今、我儕未見萬物服之、

既言萬物服其下、則物無不服、第及於今、我未見萬物服之、

既言使萬物皆服之、則不遺一物不服之者、但今我儕未見萬物皆服之、

統轄受造物、樂此無盡藏。』是知天主已將天地萬有、交其掌管、而絕無例外也。惟此事至今尚未實現；

You have put everything under their control.”( Psalm 8:4–6) So God has put everything under his Son. Everything is under his control. We do not now see everything under his control.

putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.

You gave them authority over all things.” Now when it says“ all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority.

and subjected everything under his feet. For in subjecting everything to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. As it is, we do not yet see everything subjected to him.

You have put everything in subjection under his feet.” For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him.

Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him.

You put all things under his control.” For when he put all things under his control, he left nothing outside of his control. At present we do not yet see all things under his control,

耶穌知道父把一切交在自己手裡，並且知道自己是從神那裡來，又要回到神那裡去。

因為「神使萬有都服從在基督的腳下。」當經上說「萬有」都已經服從了他的時候，明顯地，使萬有服從基督的那一位是不包括在內的。

你讓他管轄你手所造的，把萬有都放在他的腳下，

是那永生的。我曾經死過，可是看哪，我現在活著，直到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

我又觀看，就聽見在寶座、活物和長老們的周圍，有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬。他們大聲說：「那被殺的羔羊配接受權能、財富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀和頌讚！」我又聽見天上、地上、地底下和海中的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都在說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀和權能，都歸於坐在寶座上的那一位，都歸於羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」

耶穌基督已經升天，就在神的右邊，天使們、掌權的、有勢力的，都服從了他。

他被賜予了權柄、尊榮和國度，所有的民族、國家、語言群體都事奉他；他的權柄是永遠的權柄，不會廢去，他的國度不會毀滅。

再後才是結局。那時候，基督要把國度交給父神；同時，基督要廢除一切統治的、掌權的、有勢力的，因為基督必須做王，直到神把所有的敵人都放在他的腳下。

「我在錫安我的聖山上，膏立了我的王。」

事實上，我們所說的那「將要來的世界」，神並沒有使它服從天使，

耶穌前來，對他們說：「天上和地上所有的權柄都賜給我了。

遠遠高過一切統治的、掌權的、有勢力的、有主權的，和一切被稱的名號，不僅在這世代，而且也在那將要來臨的世代。神又使萬有都服從在基督的腳下，使基督為教會做了超越萬有的元首。

從前神到底對哪一位天使說過：「你坐在我的右邊，等我把你的敵人放在你的腳下做腳凳」呢？

因此神使他升為至高，賜給他那超越萬名之上的名，好使天上、地上和地底下的一切，因耶穌的名都屈膝，萬口為了父神的榮耀要承認耶穌基督是主。

父愛子，把一切都交在他手裡了。

從那信實的見證者、死人中首先復活的、地上眾君王的元首耶穌基督，臨到你們！他愛我們，用自己的血，把我們從我們的罪孽中釋放出來，
