你們並不是來到了摸得著的山、燃燒著的火、陰雲、幽暗、風暴、

夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

那時你們近前來，站在山下；山上有火焰沖天，並有昏黑、密雲、幽暗。

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，就都發顫，遠遠地站立，

「這些話是耶和華在山上，從火中、雲中、幽暗中，大聲曉諭你們全會眾的；此外並沒有添別的話。他就把這話寫在兩塊石版上，交給我了。」「那時，火焰燒山，你們聽見從黑暗中出來的聲音；你們支派中所有的首領和長老都來就近我，說：『看哪，耶和華－我們神將他的榮光和他的大能顯給我們看，我們又聽見他的聲音從火中出來。今日我們得見神與人說話，人還存活。現在這大火將要燒滅我們，我們何必冒死呢？若再聽見耶和華－我們神的聲音就必死亡。凡屬血氣的，曾有何人聽見永生神的聲音從火中出來，像我們聽見還能存活呢？

耶和華的榮耀在山頂上，在以色列人眼前，形狀如烈火。

因為神賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。

你們所受的，不是奴僕的心，仍舊害怕；所受的，乃是兒子的心，因此我們呼叫：「阿爸！父！」

若是定罪的職事有榮光，那稱義的職事榮光就越發大了。

你要在山的四圍給百姓定界限，說：『你們當謹慎，不可上山去，也不可摸山的邊界；凡摸這山的，必要治死他。不可用手摸他，必用石頭打死，或用箭射透；無論是人是牲畜，都不得活。到角聲拖長的時候，他們才可到山根來。』」摩西下山往百姓那裏去，叫他們自潔，他們就洗衣服。他對百姓說：「到第三天要預備好了。不可親近女人。」到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轟、閃電，和密雲，並且角聲甚大，營中的百姓盡都發顫。摩西率領百姓出營迎接神，都站在山下。西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降於山上。山的煙氣上騰，如燒窰一般，遍山大大地震動。角聲漸漸地高而又高，摩西就說話，神有聲音答應他。耶和華降臨在西奈山頂上，耶和華召摩西上山頂，摩西就上去。耶和華對摩西說：「你下去囑咐百姓，不可闖過來到我面前觀看，恐怕他們有多人死亡；又叫親近我的祭司自潔，恐怕我忽然出來擊殺他們。」

罪必不能作你們的主；因你們不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。
