夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

那时你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火焰冲天，并有昏黑、密云、幽暗。

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，就都发颤，远远地站立，

“这些话是耶和华在山上，从火中、云中、幽暗中，大声晓谕你们全会众的；此外并没有添别的话。他就把这话写在两块石版上，交给我了。”“那时，火焰烧山，你们听见从黑暗中出来的声音；你们支派中所有的首领和长老都来就近我，说：‘看哪，耶和华我们神将他的荣光和他的大能显给我们看，我们又听见他的声音从火中出来。今日我们得见神与人说话，人还存活。现在这大火将要烧灭我们，我们何必冒死呢？若再听见耶和华我们神的声音就必死亡。凡属血气的，曾有何人听见永生神的声音从火中出来，像我们听见还能存活呢？

耶和华的荣耀在山顶上，在以色列人眼前，形状如烈火。

因为神赐给我们，不是胆怯的心，乃是刚强、仁爱、谨守的心。

你们所受的，不是奴仆的心，仍旧害怕；所受的，乃是儿子的心，因此我们呼叫：“阿爸！父！”

若是定罪的职事有荣光，那称义的职事荣光就越发大了。

你要在山的四围给百姓定界限，说：‘你们当谨慎，不可上山去，也不可摸山的边界；凡摸这山的，必要治死他。不可用手摸他，必用石头打死，或用箭射透；无论是人是牲畜，都不得活。到角声拖长的时候，他们才可到山根来。’”摩西下山往百姓那里去，叫他们自洁，他们就洗衣服。他对百姓说：“到第三天要预备好了。不可亲近女人。”到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轰、闪电，和密云，并且角声甚大，营中的百姓尽都发颤。摩西率领百姓出营迎接神，都站在山下。西奈全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降于山上。山的烟气上腾，如烧窑一般，遍山大大地震动。角声渐渐地高而又高，摩西就说话，神有声音答应他。耶和华降临在西奈山顶上，耶和华召摩西上山顶，摩西就上去。耶和华对摩西说：“你下去嘱咐百姓，不可闯过来到我面前观看，恐怕他们有多人死亡；又叫亲近我的祭司自洁，恐怕我忽然出来击杀他们。”

罪必不能作你们的主；因你们不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。
