The backslider will be paid back from his own ways, but a good person will be rewarded for his.

If anyone sees his fellow Christian committing a sin not resulting in death, he should ask, and God will grant life to the person who commits a sin not resulting in death. There is a sin resulting in death. I do not say that he should ask about that.

We have not been unfaithful, nor have we disobeyed your commands.

For God did not destine us for wrath but for gaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
