又有一位大祭司治理神的家，

既然我们有一位伟大的祭司管理神的家，

又有一位大祭司治理神的家，

既然我們有一位偉大祭司治理上帝的家，

既然我們有一位偉大祭司治理神的家，

並且，我們有一位大祭司管理上帝的家，

我們既然有一位偉大的祭司治理神的家，

我們又既有一位尊大的祭司治理上帝的家，

既然我們有一位偉大的祭司管理神的家，

且既有大祭司宰上帝家、

我得大祭司、理上帝宮、

且既有大祭司、理天主之家、

今吾人在天主宅中、既有偌大之司祭矣；

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

We also have a great priest over the house of God.

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house,

and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

and having a High Priest over the house of God,

and having a great priest over the house of God;

and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,

And[ having] an high priest over the house of God;

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

and having a great priest over God’s house,

For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. (niv)

if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. (niv)

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, (niv)

where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (niv)

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are— yet he did not sin.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (niv)

Such a high priest truly meets our need— one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. (niv)

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. (niv)

Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.“ Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future.But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory. (niv)

For we are co- workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved— even though only as one escaping through the flames.Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. (niv)

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. (niv)

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (niv)

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“ I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”Therefore,“ Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” (niv)
