And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.

But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

Jesus came and told his disciples,“ I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God.

God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.

for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.

But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.”

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

“ For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to him,“ I demand in the name of the living God— tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

“ But when the tenant farmers saw his son coming, they said to one another,‘ Here comes the heir to this estate. Come on, let’s kill him and get the estate for ourselves!’

And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer and Creator:“ I am the Lord, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?

So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?

In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all— the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.

Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:“ You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.” God also said,“ I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.”

“ In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you.

But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands.When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors— no beginning or end to his life. He remains a priest forever, resembling the Son of God.

I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.

And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ— everything in heaven and on earth.

This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel— that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

“ The Lord formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else.I was appointed in ages past, at the very first, before the earth began.I was born before the oceans were created, before the springs bubbled forth their waters.Before the mountains were formed, before the hills, I was born—before he had made the earth and fields and the first handfuls of soil.I was there when he established the heavens, when he drew the horizon on the oceans.I was there when he set the clouds above, when he established springs deep in the earth.I was there when he set the limits of the seas, so they would not spread beyond their boundaries. And when he marked off the earth’s foundations,I was the architect at his side. I was his constant delight, rejoicing always in his presence.And how happy I was with the world he created; how I rejoiced with the human family!

The fierce anger of the Lord will not diminish until it has finished all he has planned. In the days to come you will understand all this.

Moses continued,“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires.

I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and will turn from the way I have commanded you to follow. In the days to come, disaster will come down on you, for you will do what is evil in the Lord’s sight, making him very angry with your actions.”

For the Lord is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos.“ I am the Lord,” he says,“ and there is no other.

I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.

until there was only one left— his son whom he loved dearly. The owner finally sent him, thinking,‘ Surely they will respect my son.’

But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.

Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come.”

and you will attack my people Israel, covering their land like a cloud. At that time in the distant future, I will bring you against my land as everyone watches, and my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you, Gog. Then all the nations will know that I am the Lord.

‘ In the last days,’ God says,‘ I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said,‘ The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God. It began

For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given him.

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!

and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires.

You gave them authority over all things.” Now when it says“ all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority.What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position“ a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now“ crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.

Then Jacob called together all his sons and said,“ Gather around me, and I will tell you what will happen to each of you in the days to come.

For the Lord declares,“ I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain.”The king proclaims the Lord’s decree:“ The Lord said to me,‘ You are my son. Today I have become your Father.Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.’”

But afterward the people will return and devote themselves to the Lord their God and to David’s descendant, their king. In the last days, they will tremble in awe of the Lord and of his goodness.

But to the Son he says,“ Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice.

If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once for all time, he has appeared at the end of the age to remove sin by his own death as a sacrifice.

But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future. Now I will tell you your dream and the visions you saw as you lay on your bed.

And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

A debate broke out between John’s disciples and a certain Jew over ceremonial cleansing.

that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else— not only in this world but also in the world to come.God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet.And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.For the Scriptures say,“ God has put all things under his authority.”( Of course, when it says“ all things are under his authority,” that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.)

But I will restore the fortunes of Moab in days to come. I, the Lord, have spoken!” This is the end of Jeremiah’s prophecy concerning Moab.

I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command.

Now I am returning to my own people. But first let me tell you what the Israelites will do to your people in the future.”
