那時你們怎樣呢？有人到穀堆來，想得兩百公斤穀，卻只得一百公斤；有人到榨酒池去，想從酒槽得一百公升酒，卻只得四十公升。

在那一切日子，有人来到谷堆，想得二十斗，只得了十斗。有人来到酒池，想得五十桶，只得了二十桶。

那时你们怎么了？有人来到二十斗的谷堆那里，却只得了十斗；有人来到酒池那里要取五十桶，却只得了二十桶。

其時人至禾場、望得二十束、惟得十束、人至壓酒處、望得五十普拉、普拉量酒之器下同惟得二十普拉、

When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty.

People went to get 20 measures of grain. But they could find only 10. They went to where the wine was stored to get 50 measures. But only 20 were there.

how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty.

When you hoped for a twenty bushel crop, you harvested only ten. When you expected to draw fifty gallons from the winepress, you found only twenty.

what state were you in? When someone came to a grain heap of twenty measures, it only amounted to ten; when one came to the winepress to dip fifty measures from the vat, it only amounted to twenty.

from that time when one came to a grain heap of twenty measures, there would be only ten; and when one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there would be only twenty.

since those days, when one came to a heap of twenty ephahs, there were but ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty baths from the press, there were but twenty.

Since those[ days] were, when[ one] came to an heap of twenty[ measures], there were[ but] ten: when[ one] came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty[ vessels] out of the press, there were[ but] twenty.

From that time when one came expecting a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures from it, there were only twenty.

你們撒的種多，收割的卻少；你們吃，卻吃不飽；你們喝，卻喝不足；你們穿衣服，卻穿不暖；得工錢的，卻把工錢放在破袋裡。”

“你們期望豐收，反倒歉收；你們收到家裡的，我就吹去。”為甚麼呢？萬軍之耶和華說：“因為我的殿宇荒廢，你們各人卻為自己的房屋奔馳。所以，因你們的緣故，天就不降甘露，地也不出土產。我叫乾旱臨到大地、群山、五穀、新酒、新油、地上的出產、人畜和人手勞碌得來的一切。”

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們若不聽從，若不放在心上，不把榮耀歸給我的名，我就使咒詛臨到你們中間，我要咒詛你們應得的福分，並且已經咒詛了，因為你們沒有把這命令放在心上。

你要把你的財物，和一切初熟的農作物，敬奉耶和華。這樣，你的倉庫必充滿有餘，你的榨酒池也必盈溢新酒。

因為在那些日子以前，人作工是沒有工價的，牲畜也是這樣，並且因有敵人的緣故，人出入就沒有平安，我也使眾人互相攻擊。但現在我待這些餘剩的子民必不像從前的日子那樣（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告）。因為五穀必生長繁茂，葡萄樹必結果子，地土必出土產，天也必降下甘露，我要使這些餘剩的子民承受這一切。
