“ Is it time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses while this house remains desolate?”

“这殿仍然荒凉，你们自己还住天花板的房屋吗？

“这殿荒凉，你们自己还住天花板的房屋吗？

“这殿荒凉，你们自己还住天花板的房屋吗？

“这殿还是一片废墟，你们却住在华丽的房子里。

“这殿宇仍然荒废，岂是你们住在有天花板的房屋的时候吗？”

「這殿仍然荒涼，你們自己還住天花板的房屋嗎？

「這殿荒涼，你們自己還住天花板的房屋嗎？

「這殿荒涼，你們自己還住天花板的房屋嗎？

「這殿還是一片廢墟，你們卻住在華麗的房子裡。

“這殿宇仍然荒廢，豈是你們住在有天花板的房屋的時候嗎？”

『這殿荒廢無鑲蓋，而你們自己倒住在有鑲蓋的房屋：難道這就是這樣作的時候麼？

斯室荒涼、爾居板蓋之室、於斯時宜乎、

爾所居之屋、以板附壁、使斯殿荒蕪、豈在斯時乎、

今此殿荒蕪、爾曹反居室、以板附墻者、於斯時豈可乎、

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?”

“ My temple is still destroyed. But you are living in your houses that have beautiful wooden walls.”

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?

“ Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruins?

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?”

“ Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”

Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your ceiled houses, while this house lieth waste?

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?”

[ Is it] time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house[ lie] waste?

“ Is it right for you to live in richly paneled houses while my temple is in ruins?

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies waste?

that the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I live in a house of cedar, but the ark of God remains within the tent.”

“ I certainly will not enter my house, Nor lie on my bed;I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

Therefore on account of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, And the mountain of the temple will become high places of a forest.

And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.

‘ Speak to the house of Israel,“ This is what the Lord God says:‘ Behold, I am about to profane My sanctuary, the pride of your power, that which is precious in your eyes and the longing of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.

“ This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ There will again be in this place which is waste, without man or animal, and in all its cities, a pasture for shepherds who rest their flocks.

The Lord has rejected His altar, He has repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed over The walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As on the day of an appointed feast.

“ Micah of Moresheth used to prophesy in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying,‘ This is what the Lord of armies has said:“ Zion will be plowed like a field, And Jerusalem will become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the house like the high places of a forest.” ’

then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.” ’ ”

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Yet again there will be heard in this place, of which you say,“ It is a waste, without man and without animal,” that is, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, without man and without inhabitant and without animal,

Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come the one who makes desolate, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate.”

So now, our God, listen to the prayer of Your servant and to his pleas, and for Your sake, Lord, let Your face shine on Your desolate sanctuary.My God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our pleas before You based on any merits of our own, but based on Your great compassion.

How dark the gold has become, How the pure gold has changed! The sacred stones are spilled out At the corner of every street.

They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; They have defiled the dwelling place of Your name.

“ You start an ambitious project, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?” declares the Lord of armies.“ It is because of My house which remains desolate, while each of you runs to his own house.

Surely Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And feel pity for her dust.

Jesus left the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.But He responded and said to them,“ Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
