撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯、约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚和所有的余民听到他们的上帝耶和华借先知哈该所讲的话，都顺服耶和华的话。百姓都敬畏耶和华。

那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯、约撒答的儿子约书亚大祭司，和所有幸存的百姓都听从耶和华—他们上帝的话，就是哈该先知奉耶和华—他们上帝差遣所说的话；百姓在耶和华面前存敬畏的心。

那時撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞、以及所有剩下的人民、都聽從了永恆主他們的上帝的聲音、和永恆主他們的上帝所差遣的神言人哈該的話；人民在永恆主面前都存着敬畏的心。

撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、約撒答子大祭司約書亞、與諸遺民、遂遵其上帝耶和華之命、及先知哈該奉其上帝耶和華遣、所傳之言、民眾乃寅畏耶和華、

設鐵子所羅把伯、約撒答子祭司長約書亞、及諸遺民、遵其上帝耶和華所使先知哈基傳命之言而敬畏耶和華。

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.

Zerubbabel was the son of Shealtiel. Joshua the high priest was the son of Jozadak. They obeyed the Lord their God. So did all the Lord’ s people who were still left alive. The Lord had given his message to them through me. He had sent me to speak to them. And the people had respect for him.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of God’s people began to obey the message from the Lord their God. When they heard the words of the prophet Haggai, whom the Lord their God had sent, the people feared the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, and the entire remnant of the people obeyed the LORD their God and the words of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. So the people feared the LORD.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, just as the Lord their God had sent him. And the people showed reverence for the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of Jehovah their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him; and the people did fear before Jehovah.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, and the entire remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the words of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. So the people feared the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, along with the whole remnant of the people, obeyed the LORD their God. They responded favorably to the message of the prophet Haggai, who spoke just as the LORD their God had instructed him, and the people began to respect the LORD.

Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed Yahweh, their God’s voice, and the words of Haggai, the prophet, as Yahweh, their God, had sent him; and the people feared Yahweh.

你们中间谁敬畏耶和华，听从祂仆人的话？行在黑暗中、没有光的人要信靠耶和华的名，仰赖自己的上帝。

耶和华感动撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯、约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚和所有的余民，他们就动工建造他们的上帝万军之耶和华的殿，

以上所说的，总而言之，就是要敬畏上帝，遵守祂的诫命，这是人的本分。

知识始于敬畏耶和华，愚人轻视智慧和教诲。

“你去告诉撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯、约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚和所有的余民，

你们要赞美耶和华！敬畏耶和华、乐于遵行祂命令的人有福了！

于是，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约萨达的儿子耶书亚开始在耶路撒冷重建上帝的殿，上帝的先知在他们身边帮助他们。

因为我们传福音给你们不只是靠言语，也靠上帝的能力、圣灵的同在和充分的确据。你们也知道，我们为了你们的缘故怎样在你们中间行事为人。你们效法了我们和我们的主，尽管深受苦难，仍然怀着圣灵所赐的喜乐领受真道，

那么，既然我们承受的是一个不能被震动的国度，就要感恩，用虔诚和敬畏的心事奉上帝，讨祂喜悦。

雨雪从天降下，并不返回，而是要滋润大地，使地上的植物发芽生长，叫播种的有种子，吃饭的有食粮。同样，我口中所出的话也不会徒然返回，而是要成就我的旨意，实现我的计划。

当时，犹太、加利利、撒玛利亚各地的教会都很平安，得到了坚固。信徒们非常敬畏主，又得到圣灵的安慰，人数越来越多。

这福音不但传到了你们那里，也传到了世界各地，并且开花结果，信主的人数不断增长，正如你们当初听了福音，因为明白真理而认识上帝的恩典后的情形。

要招聚所有男女、孩童以及住在你们中间的外族人，让他们聆听这律法，学习敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，谨遵律法上的一切话。

大流士王执政第二年六月一日，耶和华借着先知哈该对撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说：

我们不住地感谢上帝，因为你们从我们这里听了上帝的道后就接受了，确信这不是人的道理，而是上帝的道。这道正在你们信的人心里发挥作用。弟兄姊妹，你们的遭遇和犹太地区基督耶稣的众教会的遭遇一样。你们受到了自己同胞的迫害，他们也受到了犹太人的迫害。

天使说：“不要动孩子，不可伤害他！现在我知道你敬畏上帝，因为你不惜献上你的儿子——你的独生子。”
