“用酒灌醉邻居以观看他们祼体的人啊，你们有祸了！

你这请邻舍喝酒，却把毒物混入，使他醉倒，为要见他赤裸的，有祸了！

給人酒喝、又加上毒物、使他喝醉、好看見他下體的有禍了！

禍哉！那給鄰舍酒喝，加上毒物，使人喝醉，為要看見他們下體的人！

禍哉！那給鄰舍酒喝，加上毒物，使人喝醉，為要看見他們下體的人！

和毒以飲鄰里、使之沈醉、欲觀其裸、其人禍哉、

爾使鄰里縱飲、酌彼旨酒、以致亂儀、欲其取辱、目睹為快、禍必不遠、

禍哉爾歟、使鄰里痛飲、斟酌濃酒、使之昏醉、欲觀其醜態、

“ Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!

“ How terrible it will be for the Babylonians! They give drinks to their neighbors. They pour the drinks from wineskins until their neighbors are drunk. They want to look at their naked bodies.

“ Woe to him who makes his neighbors drink— you pour out your wrath and make them drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!

“ What sorrow awaits you who make your neighbors drunk! You force your cup on them so you can gloat over their shameful nakedness.

Woe to him who gives his neighbors drink, pouring out your wrath and even making them drunk, in order to look at their nakedness!

“ Woe to him who makes his neighbor drink; To you who mix in your venom even to make your neighbors drunk, So as to look at their genitalia!

“ Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor, Pressing him to your bottle, Even to make him drunk, That you may look on his nakedness!

Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, to thee that addest thy venom, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!

Woe to him who gives his neighbors drink, pouring out your wrath and even making them drunk, in order to look at their nakedness!

“ You who force your neighbor to drink wine are as good as dead– you who make others intoxicated by forcing them to drink from the bowl of your furious anger, so you can look at their genitals.

“ Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies!

巴比倫在耶和華手中曾是灌醉天下的金杯，列國喝了她的酒都變得癲狂。

迦南的父親含看見他父親赤身露體，便去告訴外面的兩個弟兄。

地上的君王與她行淫，地上其他人也因喝了她淫亂的酒而酩酊大醉。」

因為列國都被她荒淫的烈酒灌醉了。地上的君王曾經與她通姦，地上的商人也因她窮奢極侈的生活而發了財。」

我又見她醉了，因她喝了眾聖徒的血，就是為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看見她，非常驚奇。

君王宴樂的時候，首領們醉酒成病，君王也與輕慢上帝的人聯手。

不如我們灌醉父親，然後跟他睡覺，藉著他替我們一家傳宗接代吧。」於是，那晚她們灌醉了父親，大女兒進去和父親睡。她什麼時候躺下，什麼時候起來，羅得完全不知道。第二天，大女兒對妹妹說：「昨天晚上我已經和父親睡了，今天晚上我們再灌醉他，你可以進去和他睡。這樣，我們就可以藉著父親傳宗接代。」當天晚上，她們又灌醉了羅得，小女兒進去與他睡。她什麼時候躺下，什麼時候起來，羅得完全不知道。

押沙龍說：「倘若王不去，求你叫我兄弟暗嫩去吧。」大衛說：「何必要他同去呢？」但押沙龍再三懇求，王就讓暗嫩和其他王子一同去了。押沙龍吩咐僕人說：「你們要留意，當暗嫩喝得正高興的時候，我叫你們殺他，你們就要動手。不要畏縮，要剛強勇敢！因為這是我的命令。」

第二天，大衛邀請他一同吃飯，把他灌醉了。可是到了晚上，烏利亞還是不肯回家，仍然跟王的其他士兵一同住宿。

以色列的上帝耶和華對我說：「你從我手中接過這盛滿我烈怒的酒杯，到我差遣你去的國家給他們喝。

摩西見百姓放肆，亞倫縱容他們，使他們成為敵人的笑柄，
