你為甚麼使我看見奸惡？為甚麼你逕看着毒害事而不理呢？毁滅和強暴老在我面前，紛爭與相鬥又時時發生呢！

胡為使我見奸惡、爾奚觀橫逆乎、殘賊強暴、在於我前、怨隙爭鬥、紛然並起、

民自相爭、虐遇攘奪、至於召禍、爾何使我目睹乎、

何為使我目睹不義、人行惡作慝、人行惡作慝或作人行奸惡主何為徒觀、攘奪與兇暴恆於我前、怨隙滋生、爭端紛起、

Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds.

Why do you make me watch while people treat others so unfairly? Why do you put up with the wrong things they are doing? I have to look at death. People are harming others. They are arguing and fighting all the time.

Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise.

Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight.

Why do you force me to look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Oppression and violence are right in front of me. Strife is ongoing, and conflict escalates.

Why do You make me see disaster, And make me look at destitution? Yes, devastation and violence are before me; Strife exists and contention arises.

Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises.

Why dost thou show me iniquity, and look upon perverseness? for destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention riseth up.

Why do You force me to look at injustice? Why do You tolerate wrongdoing? Oppression and violence are right in front of me. Strife is ongoing, and conflict escalates.

Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause[ me] to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence[ are] before me: and there are[ that] raise up strife and contention.

Why do you force me to witness injustice? Why do you put up with wrongdoing? Destruction and violence confront me; conflict is present and one must endure strife.

Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up.

主啊，求你吞灭他们，变乱他们的言语！因为我在城中见了凶暴争吵的事。他们昼夜在城墙上绕行，城内也有罪孽和奸恶。邪恶在其中，欺压和诡诈不离街市。

我有祸了！我好像夏日收割后的果子，又如收成之后剩余的葡萄，没有一挂可吃的，也没有我心所渴想初熟的无花果。地上的虔诚人灭尽了，人世间已无正直的人；他们都埋伏，为要流人的血，用罗网猎取自己的弟兄。他们双手善于作恶，君王和审判官都索取贿赂；位高的人吐出心中的欲望，彼此勾结。他们当中最好的，不过像蒺藜；最正直的，不过如荆棘篱笆。你守候的日子，惩罚已经来到，他们必扰乱不安。

我每逢讲话的时候，就哀叹，我喊叫：“有暴力和毁灭！”因为耶和华的话终日成了我的凌辱和讥刺。

惟愿在旷野有旅客的客栈，我好离开我的百姓而去；因他们全都行奸淫，是行诡诈的一党。他们弯起舌头像弓，为要说谎话；他们在国中增长势力，不是为诚信。他们恶上加恶，并不认识我。这是耶和华说的。你们各人当谨防邻舍，不可信赖弟兄；因为弟兄尽行欺骗，邻舍也都往来毁谤人。他们互相欺骗，不说真话，训练自己的舌头说谎，竭尽所能地作恶。你居住在诡诈的人中；他们因行诡诈，不愿意认识我。这是耶和华说的。

你若在一个地区看见穷人受欺压，公义公平被掠夺，不要因此惊奇；有一位高过居高位的在鉴察，在他们之上还有更高的。

因为那义人住在他们当中，他正义的心因天天看见和听见他们不法的事而伤痛；

耶和华啊，求你帮助，因虔诚人断绝了，世人中间忠信的人消失了。人人向邻舍说谎；他们说话嘴唇油滑，心口不一。

祸哉！我寄居在米设，住在基达帐棚之中。我与那恨恶和平的人许久同住。

“看哪！我差你们出去，如同羊进入狼群，所以你们要机警如蛇，纯真如鸽。

因为我嫉妒狂傲的人，我看见恶人享平安。他们的力气强壮，他们死的时候也没有疼痛。他们不像别人受苦，也不像别人遭灾。所以，骄傲如链子戴在他们项上，残暴像衣裳覆盖在他们身上。他们的眼睛因体胖而凸出，他们的内心放任不羁。他们讥笑人，凭恶意说欺压人的话。他们说话自高；他们的口亵渎上天，他们的舌毁谤全地。

我转而观看日光之下所发生的一切欺压之事。看哪，受欺压的流泪，无人安慰；欺压他们的有权势，也无人安慰。

你，人子啊，虽有荆棘和蒺藜在你那里，你又住在蝎子中间，总不要怕他们，也不要怕他们的话；他们虽是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他们的话，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。
