主耶和華如此說：因你們拍手頓足，幸災樂禍，藐視以色列地，

我必用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，令江河中的魚貼住你的鱗甲；我要把你和所有貼着鱗甲的魚從你的江河中拉上來。我要把你和江河中的魚全都拋棄在曠野；你必仆倒在田間，無人收殮，無人掩埋。我已將你給了地上的走獸、空中的飛鳥作食物。

搶奪我產業的啊，你們因歡喜快樂，像踹穀嬉戲的母牛犢，又像發嘶聲的壯馬。

西門說：「老師，我們整夜勞累，並沒有打着甚麼。但依從你的話，我就下網。」他們下了網，圈住許多魚，網險些裂開，就招手叫另一隻船上的同伴來幫助。他們就來，把魚裝滿了兩隻船，船甚至要沉下去。西門‧彼得看見，就俯伏在耶穌膝前，說：「主啊，離開我，我是個罪人。」他和一切跟他一起的人對打到了這一網的魚都很驚訝。他的夥伴西庇太的兒子雅各、約翰，也是這樣。耶穌對西門說：「不要怕！從今以後，你要得人了。」

你怎樣因以色列家的地業荒涼而喜樂，我也要照你所做的對待你。西珥山哪，你和以東全地都必荒涼；人就知道我是耶和華。」

住在地上的人會因他們而歡喜快樂，互相饋送禮物，因為這兩位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。

「人子啊，因推羅向耶路撒冷說：『啊哈！那眾民之門已經破壞，向我敞開；它既變為廢墟，我必豐盛。』

凡過路的都向你拍掌。他們向耶路撒冷嗤笑，搖頭：「這就是人稱為全美的、稱為全地所喜悅的城嗎？」你所有的仇敵張口來攻擊你；他們嗤笑，切齒，說：「我們把她吞滅了，這是我們所盼望的日子！我們終於等到了，親眼看見了！」
