你的眼目極為清潔，見不得邪惡，也不能容忍罪惡。但你為何容忍奸惡之人呢？惡人吞滅比他們公義的人，你為何默然不語呢？

你眼目清洁，不看邪僻，不看奸恶；行诡诈的，你为何看着不理呢？恶人吞灭比自己公义的，你为何静默不语呢？

你的眼目清洁，不看邪恶，也不看奸恶，为何你却看着人行诡诈呢？恶人吞灭比自己公义的人，为何你保持沉默呢？

你的眼目純潔，不看邪惡，不能坐視奸惡；為甚麼見行詭詐的人而不理？惡人吞滅比自己公義的人，你為甚麼緘默呢？

你眼目清潔不看壞事，你是不能逕看着毒害舉動而不理的！為甚麼你逕看着詭詐不忠的人而不理？惡人吞滅了比自己正義的、你為甚麼靜默不動？

爾目清潔、不視邪惡、不觀橫逆、爾何顧諟行詐者乎、惡人吞噬義於己者、爾何緘默乎、

爾品至聖、惡者爾所不喜、暴者爾所不悅、今人強據我有、何爾反佑之、惡者害義、何爾默不一言乎。

主目至潔、不欲觀妄為、不欲視惡行、今人作罪、作罪或作行欺詐之事主何為徒觀、惡人害較己尤義者、主何為默然不言乎、

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?

Your eyes are too pure to look at what is evil. You can’t put up with the wrong things people do. So why do you put up with those who can’t be trusted? The evil Babylonians swallow up those who are more godly than themselves. So why are you silent?

You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?

But you are pure and cannot stand the sight of evil. Will you wink at their treachery? Should you be silent while the wicked swallow up people more righteous than they?

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do you tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are you silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

Your eyes are too pure to look at evil, And You cannot look at harm favorably. Why do You look favorably At those who deal treacherously? Why are You silent when the wicked swallow up Those more righteous than they?

You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, And cannot look on wickedness. Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, And hold Your tongue when the wicked devours A person more righteous than he?

Thou that art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and that canst not look on perverseness, wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy peace when the wicked swalloweth up the man that is more righteous than he;

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and You cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do You tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are You silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

[ Thou art] of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously,[ and] holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth[ the man that is] more righteous than he?

You are too just to tolerate evil; you are unable to condone wrongdoing. So why do you put up with such treacherous people? Why do you say nothing when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?

You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,

耶和華的眼睛看顧義人，祂的耳朵垂聽他們的呼求。耶和華嚴懲作惡之人，從世上剷除他們。

耶和華啊，每次我與你爭論，都顯明你是對的。然而，我還是對你的公正有所不解：為什麼惡人總是得勢？為什麼詭詐之人反而生活安逸？你栽培他們，讓他們生根長大，結出果實。他們嘴上尊崇你，心卻遠離你。

耶和華啊，你怎能坐視不理呢？你仍然保持緘默，使我們重重地受罰嗎？

我們的上帝來臨，並非悄然無聲，祂前面有烈火燃燒，周圍有暴風怒吼。

要為不能自辯者說話，為一切不幸的人伸冤。你要發言，秉公審判，為貧窮困苦者主持公道。

求你打斷惡人的臂膀，徹底追究他們的罪惡。

上帝照著自己的計劃和預知把耶穌交在你們手裡，你們藉著邪惡之人的手把祂釘死在十字架上了。

耶和華要讓他血債血還。因為他背著我父親殺了兩名比他良善正直的人，即尼珥的兒子以色列元帥押尼珥和益帖的兒子猶大元帥亞瑪撒。

惡人謀害義人，對他們咬牙切齒。但耶和華嗤笑邪惡人，因為祂知道他們末日將臨。惡人拔劍張弓要消滅窮苦人，殺戮正直人，但他們的劍必刺穿自己的心，他們的弓必被折斷。

耶和華啊，這一切你都看見了，求你不要再緘默，不要遠離我。

惡人窺探義人，伺機謀害。但耶和華不會讓惡人得逞，也不會讓義人在審判時被定罪。

我看見狂傲的惡人亨通就心懷不平。

我對你的所作所為默然不語，你就以為我與你是同道。現在我要責備你，當面指出你的罪狀。

連上帝的聖者都無法令祂信任，連諸天在祂的眼中都不潔淨，

耶和華在祂的聖殿裡，坐在天上的寶座上，放眼巡視，察看世人。耶和華察驗義人和惡人，祂憎恨邪惡和殘暴之徒。祂要把烈焰熊熊的火炭和硫磺降在惡人身上，用炙熱的風懲罰他們。因為耶和華是公義的，祂喜愛公義。正直的人必見祂的面。

你是厭惡邪惡的上帝，惡人在你面前無立足之地。狂妄之人不能站在你面前，你憎惡一切作惡之人。

如果此時你閉口不語，猶太人必從別處得解脫，蒙拯救，但你和你父親一家必滅亡。誰知道你得了王后之位不是為了今日之時呢？」

耶和華啊，你為何遠遠站著？為何在我遭難時隱藏起來？惡人狂妄地追逼窮苦人，願他們落入自己所設的圈套。

你為何讓我目睹罪惡？你為何容忍邪惡？我眼前盡是毀滅和暴力，到處是紛爭和衝突。因此律法失效，正義不彰，惡人包圍義人，正義被扭曲。

我看見一個令人膽戰心驚的異象：「詭詐的在行詭詐，毀滅的在行毀滅。以攔人啊，攻打吧！瑪代人啊，圍城吧！耶和華必終止巴比倫帶來的痛苦。」

亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝，就是我們祖先的上帝，已經使祂的僕人耶穌得了榮耀。你們把耶穌交給彼拉多，儘管彼拉多想釋放祂，你們卻在彼拉多面前棄絕祂！你們棄絕了那聖潔公義者，竟然要求彼拉多釋放一個兇手。你們殺了生命之主，上帝卻使祂從死裡復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。

更何況你們這些惡徒在這個無辜人的家裡把他殺死在床上，我怎能不向你們討這血債，把你們從世上除掉？」

上帝啊，求你不要緘默無聲，一言不發。

你們這些毀滅別人、自己還未被毀滅的人有禍了！等你們毀滅完了，就毀滅你們。你們這些欺詐別人、自己還未被欺詐的人有禍了！等你們欺詐完了，就欺詐你們。

上帝啊，求你憐憫我，因為仇敵攻擊我，整日迫害我。我的仇敵整日攻擊我，許多人狂妄地迫害我。

那呼召你們的是聖潔的，你們在一切事上也要聖潔。因為聖經上說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」
