Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

洪水氾濫四旬、水勢洶湧、舟浮於地、

雨降於地、四十晝夜、○

耶和華曰、將以我所造之人、以及牲畜昆蟲飛鳥、翦滅於地、蓋我造之而悔矣、

我必使洪水氾濫於地、以滅天下有血氣之生物、凡在地者、淪胥以亡、

上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

彼未及期而見奪、其基被衝若溪流、

穫前三月、我禁厥雨、惟雨此邑、不雨彼邑、一田得雨、他田無雨、則枯槁焉、

更待七日、放其鴿、不復返、

獲勝者亦將如是衣白衣、我必不塗其名於維生之册、而認之於我父及諸使者前、

願彼塗於生命册、不與義人同錄兮、

為風定其輕重、量度諸水、

使密雲涵蒸氣、散布蘊電之雲、依其引導、旋轉往還、運行於全地、悉遵厥命、

七日後、洪水氾濫於地、

爾與長盈七日之期、則以季予爾、爾復服役七年、雅各從之、與利亞盈七日之期、拉班以女拉結妻之、

今爾若宥其罪、不然、則塗我名於爾册、耶和華曰、孰獲罪於我、則塗其名於我册、

爾時野無草木、田間蔬菜未生、蓋耶和華上帝未降雨於地、亦無人耕之、

耶和華曰、人既屬乎形軀、我神必不恆居其中、然其時日、尚可延至一百二十年、

彼取涓滴、由霧化為雨、空際淋漓、沛然普及於眾、雲霧之展布、天幕之震轟、誰能明之、閃光普照其四周、覆以海底、彼以此懲罰萬民、亦以之豐賜糧食、掌握電光、命其中的、

地上眾生、飛鳥、六畜、百獸、昆蟲、以及人類、盡皆滅亡、凡在陸地、有鼻可通呼吸者、咸就淪喪、地上眾生、人及牲畜、昆蟲、禽鳥、悉滅於地、獨挪亞與在舟者得存、

又待七日、復放鴿出、
