“ Soon I will die,” Joseph told his brothers,“ but God will surely come to help you and lead you out of this land of Egypt. He will bring you back to the land he solemnly promised to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

一天，约瑟对他的弟兄们说：“我快要死了，但上帝必看顾你们，带你们离开这里，回到祂起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的地方。”

约瑟对他的兄弟们说：“我快要死了，但神必定眷顾你们，领你们从这地上到他起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地去。”

约瑟对他的兄弟们说：“我就要死了，但神必定眷顾你们，还要把你们从这地带上去，到他起誓要给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地去。”

約瑟對他弟兄們說：「我要死了，但神必定看顧你們，領你們從這地上去，到他起誓所應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。」

約瑟對他的兄弟們說：“我快要死了，但神必定眷顧你們，領你們從這地上到他起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地去。”

約瑟對他弟兄們說：『我快要死了；但上帝必定眷顧你們，領你們從這地上去、到他所起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地。』

約瑟對他的兄弟們說：「我就要死了，但神必定眷顧你們，還要把你們從這地帶上去，到他起誓要給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地去。」

約瑟謂昆弟曰、我瀕死矣、上帝必眷顧爾、導爾出斯土、反至所誓賜亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之地、

約瑟謂兄弟曰、我死期將至、上帝必眷顧爾、導爾出斯土、反至所誓賜亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。

約瑟謂諸兄弟曰、我將死、天主必眷念爾、導爾出斯地、返至所誓賜亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之地、

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I’m about to die. But God will surely come to help you. He’ll take you up out of this land. He’ll bring you to the land he promised to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

And Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will certainly come to your aid and bring you up from this land to the land he swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will assuredly take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

And Joseph said to his brethren,“ I am dying; but God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die; but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will certainly come to your aid and bring you up from this land to the land He promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die. But God will surely come to you and lead you up from this land to the land he swore on oath to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

“ Now go and call together all the elders of Israel. Tell them,‘ Yahweh, the God of your ancestors— the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob— has appeared to me. He told me,“ I have been watching closely, and I see how the Egyptians are treating you.I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’

Live here as a foreigner in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. I hereby confirm that I will give all these lands to you and your descendants, just as I solemnly promised Abraham, your father.

And I will give you the land I once gave to Abraham and Isaac. Yes, I will give it to you and your descendants after you.”

I will go with you down to Egypt, and I will bring you back again. You will die in Egypt, but Joseph will be with you to close your eyes.”

At the top of the stairway stood the Lord, and he said,“ I am the Lord, the God of your grandfather Abraham, and the God of your father, Isaac. The ground you are lying on belongs to you. I am giving it to you and your descendants.

Then Jacob said to Joseph,“ Look, I am about to die, but God will be with you and will take you back to Canaan, the land of your ancestors.

So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day and said,“ I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River—

Then the Lord told him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.”

I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession.

Go and walk through the land in every direction, for I am giving it to you.”

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said,“ I will give this land to your descendants.” And Abram built an altar there and dedicated it to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

“ The Lord your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build.

It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.

Tell him that my father made me swear an oath. He said to me,‘ Listen, I am about to die. Take my body back to the land of Canaan, and bury me in the tomb I prepared for myself.’ So please allow me to go and bury my father. After his burial, I will return without delay.”

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

And I know you are sending me to my death— the destination of all who live.

By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.”

Then the people of Israel were convinced that the Lord had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

‘ Of all those I rescued from Egypt, no one who is twenty years old or older will ever see the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for they have not obeyed me wholeheartedly.

Remember him before you become fearful of falling and worry about danger in the streets; before your hair turns white like an almond tree in bloom, and you drag along without energy like a dying grasshopper, and the caperberry no longer inspires sexual desire. Remember him before you near the grave, your everlasting home, when the mourners will weep at your funeral.

But I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and in the end they will come away with great wealth.( As for you, you will die in peace and be buried at a ripe old age.)After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.”

The Lord said to Moses,“ Get going, you and the people you brought up from the land of Egypt. Go up to the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I told them,‘ I will give this land to your descendants.’

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,

The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.

Look, I am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it, for it is the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants.’”

And I will give the entire land of Canaan, where you now live as a foreigner, to you and your descendants. It will be their possession forever, and I will be their God.”
