Let me not enter their council, let me not join their assembly, for they have killed men in their anger and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.

I won’t share in their plans. I won’t have anything to do with them. They became angry and killed people. They cut the legs of oxen just for the fun of it.

Let my soul come not into their council; O my glory, be not joined to their company. For in their anger they killed men, and in their willfulness they hamstrung oxen.

May I never join in their meetings; may I never be a party to their plans. For in their anger they murdered men, and they crippled oxen just for sport.

雅各对西缅和利未说：“你们连累了我，使我在这地的居民中，就是在迦南人和比利洗人中坏了名声。我的人丁稀少，他们必聚集来击杀我，我和全家的人都要被灭绝。”

不要把我的性命和罪人一同除掉，不要把我的生命和好流人血的一同除掉。

因此，我的心欢喜，我的灵快乐；我的肉身也要安然居住。

求你把我隐藏，使我脱离作恶之人的暗谋，脱离作孽之人的扰乱。

我的灵啊，你当醒起！琴瑟啊，当醒起！我自己要极早醒起！

义人的思念是公平；恶人的计谋是诡诈。

我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望神，我还要称谢他，我当面的拯救，我的神。

你们不要和不信的人同负一轭。义和不义有什么相关？光明和黑暗有什么相连？

“‘暗中击杀邻舍的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’

然后要对我自己说：你这个人哪，你有许多财物积存，可供多年享用，只管安安逸逸吃喝快乐吧！’

我未曾与虚妄的人同坐，也不与伪善的人来往。我痛恨恶人的集会，必不与恶人同坐。

使我的灵歌颂你，不致缄默。耶和华—我的神啊，我要称谢你，直到永远！

不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐傲慢人的座位，惟喜爱耶和华的律法，昼夜思想他的律法；这人便为有福！

那藉着律例玩弄奸恶、以权位肆行残害的，岂能与你交往呢？他们大家聚集攻击义人，将无辜的人定了死罪。

我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华！凡在我里面的，都要称颂他的圣名！

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我心疼痛！我的心在我里面烦躁不安。我不能静默不言，因我已听见角声和打仗的喊声。

神啊，求你定他们的罪！愿他们因自己的计谋跌倒；求你因他们过犯众多赶逐他们，因为他们背叛了你。

到第三天，他们正疼痛的时候，雅各的两个儿子，就是底拿的哥哥西缅和利未，各拿刀剑，不动声色地来到城中，把所有的男丁都杀了，又用刀杀了哈抹和他儿子示剑，把底拿从示剑家里带走，就离开了。

他们若说：“你与我们同去，我们要埋伏杀人流血，无故地潜藏，杀害无辜；

神啊，惟愿你杀戮恶人；你们好流人血的，离开我去吧！

我儿啊，不要与他们走同一道路，禁止你的脚走他们的路径。因为他们的脚奔跑行恶，他们急速杀人流血。

不要把我和坏人并作恶的一同除掉；他们跟邻舍说平安，心里却是奸恶。
