Then he gave them these instructions:“ I am about to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

Then Jacob gave directions to his sons. He said,“ I’m about to join the members of my family who have already died. Bury me with them in the cave in the field of Ephron, the Hittite.

我与我祖先同睡的时候，你要将我带出埃及，把我葬在他们所葬的地方。”约瑟说：“我必遵照你的吩咐去做。”

他们把他送到迦南地，葬在幔利对面的麦比拉田间的洞里；那田是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来作坟地的产业。

至于你，你要平平安安归到你祖先那里，必享长寿，被人埋葬。

有名字记录在天上众长子的盛会，有审判众人的神和成为完全的义人的灵魂，

以撒年纪老迈，安享天年，息劳而终，归到他祖先那里。他两个儿子以扫和雅各把他安葬了。

按着所得的恩典，我们各有不同的恩赐：或说预言，要按着信心的程度说预言；或服事的，要专一服事；或教导的，要专一教导；或劝勉的，要专一劝勉；施舍的，要诚实；治理的，要殷勤；怜悯人的，要乐意。爱，不可虚假；恶，要厌恶；善，要亲近。爱弟兄，要相亲相爱；恭敬人，要彼此推让；殷勤，不可懒惰。要灵里火热；常常服侍主。在盼望中要喜乐；在患难中要忍耐；祷告要恒切。圣徒有缺乏，要供给；异乡客，要殷勤款待。要祝福迫害你们的，要祝福，不可诅咒。要与喜乐的人同乐；要与哀哭的人同哭。要彼此同心，不要心高气傲，倒要俯就卑微的人。不要自以为聪明。不要以恶报恶，众人以为美的事要留心去做。若是可行，总要尽力与众人和睦。各位亲爱的，不要自己伸冤，宁可给主的愤怒留地步，因为经上记着：“主说：‘伸冤在我，我必报应。’”不但如此，“你的仇敌若饿了，就给他吃；若渴了，就给他喝。因为你这样做，就是把炭火堆在他的头上。”不要被恶所胜，反要以善胜恶。

请让我回去，死在我本城，葬在我父母的墓旁。看哪，这里有金罕作王的仆人，让他同我主我王过去，你看怎样好，就怎样对待他吧。”

亚伯拉罕寿高年迈，安享天年，息劳而终，归到他祖先那里。他两个儿子以撒、以实玛利把他安葬在麦比拉洞里。这洞在幔利的对面、赫人琐辖的儿子以弗仑的田中，就是亚伯拉罕向赫人买的那块田。亚伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那里。亚伯拉罕死了以后，神赐福给他的儿子以撒。以撒住在庇耳‧拉海‧莱附近。这是撒拉的婢女、埃及人夏甲为亚伯拉罕生的儿子以实玛利的后代。以实玛利儿子们的名字，按着他们后代的名字如下：以实玛利的长子尼拜约，又有基达、亚德别、米比衫、米施玛、度玛、玛撒、哈大、提玛、伊突、拿非施和基底玛。这些都是以实玛利的儿子们。他们的村庄和营寨按着他们命名；他们作了十二族的族长。以实玛利一生的岁数是一百三十七岁，断气而死，归到他祖先那里。
