Joseph, your father’s God helps you. The Mighty God blesses you. He gives you blessings from the sky above. He gives you blessings from the deep springs below. He blesses you with children and with a mother’s milk.

神對他說：“我是全能的神，你要繁衍增多，必有一國和眾國從你而生，又必有很多君王從你而出。

耶和華站在梯子上，說：“我是耶和華你祖父亞伯拉罕的神，也是以撒的神，我要把你現在躺著的這塊地賜給你和你的後裔。

亞伯蘭九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：“我是全能的神，你要在我面前行事為人；你要作完全人。

我的神必照他在基督耶穌裡榮耀的豐富，滿足你們的一切需要。

因為操練身體，益處還少；唯獨操練敬虔，凡事有益，享有今生和來世的應許。

耶和華也必賜下好處，我們的地要多出土產。

這是神人摩西，在死前給以色列人所祝的福。

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們：

因為耶和華神是太陽，是盾牌，耶和華賜下恩惠和光榮；他沒有留下一樣好處，不給那些行為正直的人。

所以，誰都不可拿人來誇耀，因為一切都是你們的。無論是保羅，是亞波羅，是磯法，是世界，是生，是死，是現在的事，是將來的事，都是你們的。

管家說：“你們可以放心，不要害怕，是你們的神，你們父親的神，把財寶賜給你們，放在你們的布袋裡。你們的銀子我早已收到了。”接著他把西緬帶出來交給他們。

願神賜給你天上的甘露，地上的沃土，以及大量五穀和美酒。

如果你聽從耶和華你的神的話，以下這一切福氣必臨到你身上，必把你追上。你在城裡必蒙福，在田間也必蒙福。你身所生的、土地所出的、牲畜所出的、牛生殖的和羊所產的，都必蒙福。你的籃子和你的摶麵盆，都必蒙福。你出必蒙福，你入也必蒙福。“那起來攻擊你的仇敵，耶和華必使他們在你面前被擊敗；他們從一條路出來攻擊你，必在你面前從七條路逃跑。在你的倉房裡和你手所辦的一切事上，耶和華必吩咐福氣臨到你；在耶和華你的神賜給你的地上，他必賜福給你。如果你謹守耶和華你的神的誡命，遵守他的道路，耶和華就必照著他向你起過的誓，立你作他自己的聖民。地上萬民見你被稱為耶和華名下的人，就必懼怕你。在耶和華向你列祖起誓應許要賜給你的土地上，他必使你身上所生的、牲畜所產的、土地所出的，都豐富有餘。耶和華必為你打開他天上的寶庫，按時降雨在你的地上，在你手裡所作的一切事上賜福給你；你要借貸給許多國的民，卻不會向人借貸。

論到約瑟，他說：“願他的地蒙耶和華賜福，得著從天上而來的上好甘露，以及蘊藏在地裡的泉水；得著從太陽而來的上好之物，每月所產的佳果；得著從太古之山而來的上品，從永遠之嶺而來的上好之物；得著從地所出的上好之物，和其中所充滿的；得著那住在荊棘中的耶和華的恩寵；願這些都臨到約瑟的頭上，就是臨到那在兄弟中作王子的人的頭上。他頭生的公牛大有威嚴；他的兩角是野牛的角，用來牴觸萬民，直到地極；這角是以法蓮的萬萬，那角是瑪拿西的千千。”

使我可以平平安安地回到我的父家，我就必定以耶和華為我的神，

恐怕你心裡說：‘這財富是我的力量，是我手的能力使我得著的。’
