至撒馬利亞、敘加、近雅各賜子約瑟之地、

昔以色列族攜約瑟骨出埃及、今葬於示劍、在雅各向示劍父哈抹族、捐百金所購之地、為約瑟後裔之業。

爾力方剛、得此冢子、長子之業、誠屬於彼、彼雖被惡者所出、亦當倍其業以與之。

主耶和華曰、爾得斯土、循以色列支派、其界如左、約瑟必得二區、

是則使民得亞摩哩人之地者、乃以色列族之上帝耶和華也、爾豈能得斯土乎。

越至四世、爾之苗裔、將歸斯土、蓋亞摩哩人罪未貫盈。

奪其牛羊驢、與在邑在田之所有、

昔彼未至斯土、亞摩哩人居之、高若柏香木、強為橡樹、我剝其果、絕其根、盡歸殲滅、

猶大卓越於昆弟間、立為家督、惟約瑟得長子業。

出百金以與示劍之父哈抹子孫、購田一區、以張其幕。

約瑟子孫告約書亞曰、我蒙耶和華錫嘏、成為大族、何給我一區之地為業。約書亞曰、汝族既大、以法蓮山狹小、可入林中、在比哩洗、哩乏音地、而砍其木。約瑟子孫曰、山地不我足用、居伯善與其鄉里、及耶斯烈谷之迦南人、皆有鐵車。約書亞謂約瑟子、以法蓮馬拿西曰、汝乃大族、亦有巨能、得地一區、尚為不足、山地與陵谷歸爾、可砍其林、迦南人雖強而有鐵車、爾必能驅之。
