但以色列却两手交叉，把右手放在约瑟次子以法莲的头上，左手放在约瑟长子玛拿西的头上。

以色列伸出右手来，按在以法莲的头上，以法莲乃是次子，又剪搭过左手来，按在玛拿西的头上，玛拿西原是长子。

以色列却伸出右手来，按在次子以法莲的头上，又交叉伸出左手来，按在长子玛拿西的头上。

But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

But Jacob crossed his arms as he reached out to lay his hands on the boys’ heads. He put his right hand on the head of Ephraim, though he was the younger boy, and his left hand on the head of Manasseh, though he was the firstborn.

约瑟给长子取名叫玛拿西，因为他说：“上帝使我忘记一切的困苦和我父亲家。”

有人带着小孩子来见耶稣，请求耶稣为他们按手祷告，却受到门徒的责备。

我现在已拣选利未人代替以色列人所有的长子，

耶和华对我主说：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。”

耶稣双手按在她身上，她的腰立刻直了，便颂赞上帝。

使徒把手按在他们身上，他们就领受了圣灵。西门看见使徒把手一按在人身上，就有圣灵赐下来，便拿钱给使徒，说：“请把这能力也给我吧，以便我把手按在谁身上，就使谁领受圣灵。”

对父亲说：“父亲，你弄错了，这才是长子，你应该把右手按在他的头上。”

到了黄昏，人们把患各种疾病的人带到耶稣面前。耶稣把手按在病人身上，一一治好他们，

于是祂为他们按手祷告，然后才离开那里。

“你们祷告时，不要像伪君子那样。他们喜欢站在会堂里和十字路口上公开祷告，故意让人看见。我实在告诉你们，他们得到的赏赐不过是人的赞赏。

大家将这七个人带到使徒面前。使徒把手按在他们身上，为他们祷告。

带到耶和华面前，会众要按手在他们身上。

约瑟在埃及生的儿子是玛拿西和以法莲，他们的母亲是安城祭司波提非拉的女儿亚西纳。

耶和华啊，你大能的右手显出荣耀；耶和华啊，你的右手击碎仇敌。

我告诉你，你是彼得，我要在这磐石上建立我的教会，阴间的势力不能胜过它。

为人行按手礼，不要操之过急。不要沾染别人的罪，要洁身自好。

于是，他们禁食祷告并把手按在巴拿巴和扫罗身上，然后差遣他们出去。

嫩的儿子约书亚充满了智慧之灵，因为摩西曾把手按在他身上。以色列人都听从他，遵守耶和华对摩西的吩咐。

不要忽略你的恩赐，那是借着预言在众长老把手按在你身上时赐给你的。

耶和华高举右手，耶和华的右手施展了大能！”
