但在回家的途中住宿时，我们打开口袋，发现我们带来买粮的钱分毫不少地放在那里。我们把这些钱带回来了，又另外带了一些钱来买粮。我们不知道谁把买粮的钱放进了我们的口袋。”

因为“不可通奸、不可杀人、不可偷窃、不可贪婪”以及其他诫命，都可以总结成一句话——“爱邻如己”。

后来他们倒口袋时，发现每个人买粮的钱袋都在自己的口袋里，他们和父亲见此情形，都害怕起来。

“‘不可偷盗。

人只要触犯律法中的一条，就等于违犯了全部，因为那位说“不可通奸”的，也说过“不可杀人”。如果你没有犯通奸罪，却杀了人，你仍违犯了律法。

你们还要带双倍的钱，好归还上次留在你们口袋中的钱，那可能是弄错了。

那人问：“什么诫命呢？”耶稣答道：“不可杀人，不可通奸，不可偷盗，不可作伪证，

“不可偷盗。

他们回答说：“我主为什么这样说？我们绝不会做这种事。

他们来到一处住宿的地方，其中一人打开口袋拿饲料喂驴，却发现里面有钱，

彼此议论说：“我们一定是在遭报应。从前我们的弟弟苦苦地哀求我们，我们却不理会，现在这场痛苦临到我们了。”
