看哪，我们正在田间绑禾捆；看哪，我的禾捆起来立着，你们的禾捆都围着我的禾捆下拜！”他的哥哥们就对他说：“难道你真要作我们的王，真要管辖我们吗？”他们就因他的梦和他的话更加恨他。后来约瑟又做了另一个梦，也把这梦向哥哥们讲述了。他说：“看哪，我又做了一个梦！看哪，太阳、月亮和十一颗星星都向我下拜！”约瑟把梦向父亲和哥哥们讲述了，父亲就斥责他说：“你做的这是什么梦呢？难道我和你母亲、你哥哥们真要来俯伏于地，向你下拜吗？”

旷野的走兽将在他面前屈身，他的仇敌将舔食尘土。

好使天上、地上和地底下的一切，因耶稣的名都屈膝，万口为了父神的荣耀要承认耶稣基督是主。

他们说：“你的仆人、我们的父亲平安，他还健在。”然后他们又俯身下拜。

因为经上记着：“主说：我指着我的永生起誓，万膝将向我跪下，万口将承认神。”

他们彼此说：“看哪，那个做梦的来了！来吧！我们现在就把他杀了，丢在一个坑里，然后说有恶兽把他吃掉了；我们倒要看看他的梦将来会怎样！”

愿万民服事你，万族向你下拜；愿你成为你兄弟们的主人，你母亲的儿子们向你下拜。诅咒你的人，愿他受诅咒；祝福你的人，愿他蒙祝福。”
