這樣看來，差派我到這裡來的，不是你們，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作全埃及地的首相。

你可以掌管我的家，我的人民都要聽從你的話；只有在王位上我比你大。”法老又對約瑟說：“你看，我任命你治理埃及全地。”

等到埃及全地也要挨餓的時候，人民就向法老求糧。法老對所有的埃及人說：“你們到約瑟那裡去，他吩咐你們甚麼，你們就作甚麼。”當時饑荒遍及全國，約瑟就開了所有的糧倉，把糧食賣給埃及人，因為埃及地的饑荒非常嚴重。

他舉目觀看，忽然看見三個人在他對面站著；亞伯拉罕看見了，就從帳棚門口跑去迎接他們，俯伏在地，

看哪！從撒但的一黨，就是自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊的人中，我要使他們一些人來在你腳前下拜，並且知道我已經愛了你。

告訴他，說：“約瑟還在，並且作了埃及全地的首相。”雅各的心冷淡麻木，因為他不相信他們。

黃昏的時候，那兩位天使到了所多瑪，當時羅得正坐在所多瑪的城門口。羅得一看見他們，就起來迎接他們，俯伏在地，
