Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.

So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews.

And the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

But I have heard that you can give interpretations and solve problems. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Leave out nothing that you have mentioned.”So Haman took the robes and the horse, and he dressed Mordecai and led him through the square of the city, proclaiming before him,“ Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.”Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered.

She makes linen garments and sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant.

Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with strings of jewels.

For Mordecai the Jew was second in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was great among the Jews and popular with the multitude of his brothers, for he sought the welfare of his people and spoke peace to all his people.

for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.The king answered and said to Daniel,“ Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.

Of fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail, serving as your banner; blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your awning.

Then the king’s scribes were summoned on the thirteenth day of the first month, and an edict, according to all that Haman commanded, was written to the king’s satraps and to the governors over all the provinces and to the officials of all the peoples, to every province in its own script and every people in its own language. It was written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet ring.

The first came before him, saying,‘ Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’And he said to him,‘ Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’And the second came, saying,‘ Lord, your mina has made five minas.’And he said to him,‘ And you are to be over five cities.’
