but he impaled the chief baker, just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation.

But Pharaoh had a pole stuck through the chief baker’s body. Then he had the pole set up. Everything happened just as Joseph had told them when he explained their dreams.

The prophet who has a dream may report his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word truthfully. What does straw have in common with grain?” declares the Lord.

Then we had a dream one night, he and I; each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream.Now a Hebrew youth was there with us, a servant of the captain of the bodyguard, and we told him the dreams, and he interpreted our dreams for us. This was because an extraordinary spirit, knowledge and insight, interpretation of dreams, explanation of riddles, and solving of difficult problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Let Daniel now be summoned and he will declare the interpretation.”

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven;Daniel said,“ May the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him.It is He who changes the times and the periods; He removes kings and appoints kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, And knowledge to people of understanding.It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, For You have given me wisdom and power; Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You, For You have made known to us the king’s matter.”

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you put to death by hanging Him on a cross.

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

Joseph then answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It has nothing to do with me; God will give Pharaoh an answer for his own good.”
