執約瑟下囹圄。其地為犯王章者所幽囚之處。約瑟既下獄、

在獄有希百來少者、侍衛長之役、我以夢告之、其占我夢、各示以兆。

爾乃吾君父、第斷爾裾、今執於手以為證、我不加殺害、俾爾知我不犯上、初無不善。然爾遍索我、欲喪我命。

若上帝旨、使爾為善遘難、較為惡受苦者、超軼遠矣、昔基督欲導我儕、至上帝前、其為人罪受苦、以義代不義、身死而賴聖神復生、

保羅曰、余所立者、該撒之堂、在此聽審、宜矣、夫我未嘗不義待猶太人、爾所知也、若行不義、罪當死、雖死不辭、若訟我者不實、則不可以我付彼、我將叩該撒矣、

約瑟不從、曰、主已不與家事、以凡所有、歸我掌握。家之中我為督、我有作為、主不禁禦、但汝乃其妻、我不可犯。安可自干元惡、獲罪於上帝。婦日誘之、約瑟不聽、非惟不與同寢、亦不與共在。一日入室治事、旁無侍從、主母執其衣、曰、與我同寢。約瑟棄衣而遁。

耶和華兮、我未嘗獲罪於彼、強者咸集、設伏以害予兮。非我之愆、惟彼疾趨、設備害我、望爾鑒察、眷祐予兮。

有遁逃者報希百來人亞伯蘭、亞伯蘭處近亞摩哩人慢哩之橡、慢哩與兄弟以實各、亞乃、俱與亞伯蘭盟約。

攘竊人民、或鬻之、或留之者、殺無赦。

猶大謂諸兄曰、殺弟而匿其血、何益之有、此乃我手足之親、毋戕其生。莫若鬻與以實馬利人。兄弟允之。以實馬利人素居米田、為賈於外、將經其處、諸兄乃援約瑟出井、鬻之於賈、獲金二十。以實馬利人挈約瑟往埃及。○

嗜淫行、比頑童、攘竊民人、誑言背誓、一切逆正理者、

彼未嘗見我在殿辯論、未嘗見我於會堂、邑中、亂眾、今訟我之事、彼無所據、我有一言、可明告爾、即彼所謂異端者、我奉之、崇事列祖之上帝、自信律法與先知所載、夫我所望、惟上帝令死者復生、無論義不義耳、彼亦共慕此、我對上帝、對世人、常自勵、存不虧之心、我不至猶太有年矣、今來、以施濟祭物、與我國民、有自亞西亞之猶太人、見我於殿、惟我自潔、無眾無譁、如有可告者、當在爾前訟我、斯人素見我立公會前、或有不義、言之可也、我立眾中、曾有一言、呼曰、為死者復生之理、余今日被審、惟此而已、

耶穌曰、我奉父命、以多善事示爾、爾為何事、欲石擊我乎、

如以色列人掠同族、鬻之於人、視若賤役、必死毋赦、如是除惡於爾中。

我之上帝、鑒我無辜、未嘗違逆乎王、遣使箝獅口、俾我免遭吞噬、

如是、律言人無故惡我者應矣、
