Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?” And he replied,“ I don’t know! Am I my brother’s guardian?”

耶和华对该隐说：“你兄弟亚伯在哪里？”他说：“我不知道！我岂是看守我兄弟的吗？”

耶和华对该隐说：“你弟弟亚伯在哪里？”他说：“我不知道！我岂是看守我弟弟的吗？”

耶和华对该隐说：“你弟弟亚伯在哪里？”他说：“我不知道！我岂是看守我弟弟的吗？”

后来，耶和华问该隐：“你弟弟亚伯在哪里？”他说：“我不知道！难道我是弟弟的看护人吗？”

耶和华问该隐：“你的弟弟亚伯在哪里？”他回答：“我不知道；难道我是看守我弟弟的吗？”

耶和华对该隐说：“你弟弟亚伯在哪里呢？”他说：“我不知道。难道我是看守我兄弟的吗？”

耶和華對該隱說：「你兄弟亞伯在哪裏？」他說：「我不知道！我豈是看守我兄弟的嗎？」

耶和華對該隱說：「你弟弟亞伯在哪裏？」他說：「我不知道！我豈是看守我弟弟的嗎？」

耶和華對該隱說：「你弟弟亞伯在哪裏？」他說：「我不知道！我豈是看守我弟弟的嗎？」

後來，耶和華問該隱：「你弟弟亞伯在哪裡？」他說：「我不知道！難道我是弟弟的看護人嗎？」

耶和華問該隱：“你的弟弟亞伯在哪裡？”他回答：“我不知道；難道我是看守我弟弟的嗎？”

永恆主對該隱說：『你兄弟亞伯在哪裏？』他說：『我不知道。我，我哪是看守我兄弟的呢？』

耶和華對該隱說：「你弟弟亞伯在哪裡呢？」他說：「我不知道。難道我是看守我兄弟的嗎？」

耶和華謂該隱曰、爾弟亞伯安在、曰、不知、我豈防守我弟者乎、

耶和華問該隱曰、爾弟何在、曰、不知、我豈防閑弟者乎。

主謂該隱曰、爾弟亞伯何在、曰、不知、我豈為守弟者乎、

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?”“ I don’t know,” he replied.“ Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?”“ I don’t know,” Cain replied.“ Am I supposed to take care of my brother?”

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is Abel your brother?” He said,“ I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?”

Afterward the Lord asked Cain,“ Where is your brother? Where is Abel?”“ I don’t know,” Cain responded.“ Am I my brother’s guardian?”

Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?”“ I don’t know,” he replied.“ Am I my brother’s guardian?”

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is Abel your brother?” And he said,“ I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is Abel your brother?” He said,“ I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”

And Jehovah said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother’s keeper?

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?”“ I don’t know,” he replied.“ Am I my brother’s guardian?”

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where[ is] Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not:[ Am] I my brother’s keeper?

Yahweh said to Cain,“ Where is Abel, your brother?” He said,“ I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”

The one who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses them and forsakes them will find mercy.

You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Why does the wicked man reject God? He says to himself,“ You will not hold me accountable.”You have taken notice, for you always see one who inflicts pain and suffering. The unfortunate victim entrusts his cause to you; you deliver the fatherless.

For the one who takes revenge against murderers took notice of the oppressed; he did not overlook their cry for help

But the LORD God called to the man and said to him,“ Where are you?”The man replied,“ I heard you moving about in the orchard, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”And the LORD God said,“ Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

But you have said,‘ What does God know? Does he judge through such deep darkness?Thick clouds are a veil for him, so he does not see us, as he goes back and forth in the vault of heaven.’

Before it was sold, did it not belong to you? And when it was sold, was the money not at your disposal? How have you thought up this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people but to God!”When Ananias heard these words he collapsed and died, and great fear gripped all who heard about it.So the young men came, wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, but she did not know what had happened.Peter said to her,“ Tell me, were the two of you paid this amount for the land?” Sapphira said,“ Yes, that much.”Peter then told her,“ Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

Then they brought the special tunic to their father and said,“ We found this. Determine now whether it is your son’s tunic or not.”
