Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

You have banished me from the land and from your presence; you have made me a homeless wanderer. Anyone who finds me will kill me!”

報仇的人要親自處死故意殺人者，一找到他就要處死他。

惡人一生受折磨，殘暴之徒終身受苦。他耳邊響著恐怖的聲音，他安逸時遭強盜襲擊。他不指望能逃脫黑暗，他註定要喪身刀下。他到處流浪，尋找食物，他知道黑暗之日快要來臨。患難和痛苦使他害怕，像君王上陣一樣震懾他。

耶和華啊，求你快快應允我！我已絕望，求你不要掩面不顧我，不然我必和下墳墓的人無異。

惡人未被追趕也逃竄，義人坦然無懼如雄獅。

因此，耶和華向耶路撒冷和猶大的人發怒，把他們從祂面前趕走。後來，西底迦背叛了巴比倫王。

復仇者在城外找到他，將他殺死也不用擔血債。

或因仇恨徒手傷人致死，他就是故意殺人，必須被處死，報仇的人一找到他就要處死他。

凡是殺人害命的，無論人或獸，我必向他們追討血債。凡殺人的，我必追討他的血債。凡殺害人的，也必被人殺害，因為人是上帝照著自己的形像造的。

耶和華對他說：「不會的，因為凡殺你的，必遭受七倍的報應。」於是，耶和華在該隱身上留下一個記號，免得見到他的人殺他。該隱離開耶和華，來到伊甸東邊的挪得住下來。

你們在萬邦中將不得安寧，沒有落腳之地，耶和華必使你們膽戰心驚、目光呆滯、精神頹廢。

願他的孩子流浪行乞，被趕出自己破敗的家。

以色列人對摩西說：「完了！我們死定了！我們全死定了！凡走近耶和華聖幕的都要死，我們豈不是全都要滅亡嗎？」

願無人向他施恩，無人同情他的孤兒。

那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。

現在整個家族都起來反對婢女，說，『把那打死親兄弟的兇手交出來，我們要他以命償命，除掉這個繼承人。』他們要斷了我家的香火，使婢女的丈夫既不能留名，也不能留後。」

他們抬頭望天，低頭看地，看到的盡是患難、痛苦和黑暗。他們必被扔進黑暗中。

不要丟棄我，使我離開你，也不要從我身上收回你的聖靈。求你讓我重新享受蒙你拯救的喜樂，賜我一顆樂意順服你的心靈。這樣，我就能把你的法則教導罪人，使他們歸向你。拯救我的上帝啊，求你赦免我殺人流血的罪，使我頌揚你的公義。

「我要使你們當中的那些倖存者在敵國心驚膽戰，過著風聲鶴唳、惶恐不安的生活。

惡人因惡行而滅亡，義人到死仍有倚靠。

他們對上帝說，『離開我們，我們不想學習你的道。全能者是誰，竟要我們事奉祂？向祂禱告有何益處？』

這些人要受永遠的刑罰，但義人要得到永遠的生命。」

我要嚴懲你們，使你們敗在敵人手下；你們要被那些恨你們的人統治，即使沒有人追趕，你們也要逃命。

他們像晨霧，如轉瞬即逝的朝露，像麥場上飛旋而去的糠秕，又像窗口冒出的輕煙。

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！
