So now, you are banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

地张开了口，从你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你现在要从这地受诅咒：

地開了口，從你手裏接受你兄弟的血。現在你必從這地受咒詛。

地張開口從你手上接受了你弟弟的血，你在地上必受咒詛。

地開了口，從你手裏收取了你兄弟的血了；如今你，你是受咒詛、須離開這地的。

地張開了口，從你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你現在要從這地受詛咒：

今地啟口、由於爾手、以受汝弟之血、爾必由地見詛、

汝既殺弟、地口遂張、以受其血、故爾見詛、必離斯土、

地啟口、自爾手受爾弟之血、爾必見詛、不得地之益、

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you away from this ground. It has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has swallowed your brother’s blood.

So now you are cursed, alienated from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now you are cursed, alienated, from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

And now[ art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

For all who rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law.”

“ But if you ignore the LORD your God and are not careful to keep all his commandments and statutes I am giving you today, then all these curses will come upon you in full force:You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the field.Your basket and your mixing bowl will be cursed.Your children will be cursed, as well as the produce of your soil, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.“ The LORD will send on you a curse, confusing you and opposing you in everything you undertake until you are destroyed and quickly perish because of the evil of your deeds, in that you have forsaken me.

The LORD God said to the serpent,“ Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the wild beasts and all the living creatures of the field! On your belly you will crawl and dust you will eat all the days of your life.

“ O earth, do not cover my blood, nor let there be a secret place for my cry.

“ If my land cried out against me and all its furrows wept together,if I have eaten its produce without paying, or caused the death of its owners,then let thorns sprout up in place of wheat, and in place of barley, weeds!” The words of Job are ended.

When such a person hears the words of this oath he secretly blesses himself and says,“ I will have peace though I continue to walk with a stubborn spirit.” This will destroy the watered ground with the parched.The LORD will be unwilling to forgive him, and his intense anger will rage against that man; all the curses written in this scroll will fall upon him and the LORD will obliterate his name from memory.The LORD will single him out for judgment from all the tribes of Israel according to all the curses of the covenant written in this scroll of the law.

For look, the LORD is coming out of the place where he lives, to punish the sin of those who live on the earth. The earth will display the blood shed on it; it will no longer cover up its slain.

‘ Cursed is the one who disrespects his father and mother.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who misleads a blind person on the road.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who perverts justice for the resident foreigner, the orphan, and the widow.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his father’s former wife, for he dishonors his father.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who commits bestiality.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his sister, the daughter of either his father or mother.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his mother-in-law.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who kills his neighbor in private.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who refuses to keep the words of this law.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

but the earth came to her rescue; the ground opened up and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.

Look! You are driving me off the land today, and I must hide from your presence. I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth; whoever finds me will kill me.”
