Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers.“ Listen,” he said,“ I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it.“ Listen, I have had another dream,” he said.“ The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!”

Then he had another dream and told it to his brothers.“ Look,” he said,“ I had another dream, and this time the sun, moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

Then he had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said,“ Behold, I have had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed yet a dream; and, behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars made obeisance to me.

「先祖們嫉妒約瑟，把他賣到埃及去。可是神與他同在，救他脫離一切患難，並且使他在埃及王法老面前蒙恩寵、有智慧。法老就委任約瑟做宰相，統管埃及和法老全家。後來整個埃及和迦南地區遭遇了饑荒和大災難，我們的祖先找不到糧食。雅各聽說埃及有糧食，就派我們的祖先去，這是第一次。第二次去的時候，約瑟的身世被他的兄弟們知道了，這樣，約瑟的家族就被法老知道了。於是約瑟派人把他的父親雅各和所有的親屬請來，一共七十五人。

當猶大和他的兄弟們來到約瑟家時，約瑟還在那裡，他們就在他面前俯伏於地。

約瑟的哥哥們見父親死了，就說：「也許約瑟仍然懷恨我們，會因著我們從前對他所做的一切惡，十足地報復我們。」他們就打發人去約瑟那裡，說：「在你父親死之前，他曾吩咐說：『你們要對約瑟這樣說：從前你哥哥們惡待你，求你饒恕他們的過犯和罪惡。』現在求你饒恕你父親之神的僕人們的過犯。」他們對約瑟說這話時，約瑟就哭了。隨後他的哥哥們也來，俯伏在他面前，說：「看哪，我們是你的奴僕！」約瑟對他們說：「你們不要害怕，難道我能代替神嗎？從前你們有意要害我，但神在其中有他的美意，為要成就今日這樣的結果，使許多人得以存活。現在，你們不要害怕，我必供應你們和你們的孩童。」於是約瑟安慰他們，對他們說安心話。

「你們趕快上到我父親那裡去，對他說：『你的兒子約瑟這樣說：「神立我作了全埃及的主；請你下到我這裡來，不要耽延。

看哪，我們正在田間綁禾捆；看哪，我的禾捆起來立著，你們的禾捆都圍著我的禾捆下拜！」

至於同一個夢向法老重複了兩次，是因為這事已被神命定，神必快速實施。

它變得強大，高達天軍，把一部分天軍、一部分星辰摔落在地，並踩踏它們。

他們說：「你的僕人、我們的父親平安，他還健在。」然後他們又俯身下拜。

約瑟備好座車，上到歌珊去迎接他的父親以色列。他一到父親的面前，就伏在父親的脖子上，在父親的脖子上哭了很久。

好使你們成為無可指責、純潔無偽的人，在這扭曲、敗壞的世代中，做神毫無瑕疵的兒女；在這世代中，要像星星的光輝一樣照耀在世上。

約瑟就對法老說：「法老的兩個夢原是一個，神已經把所要做的事告訴法老了。

約瑟以孩童人數為基準，供應糧食給他的父親、他的兄弟們以及他父親的全家。

我主曾問僕人們說：『你們還有父親或其他兄弟嗎？』

約瑟把夢向父親和哥哥們講述了，父親就斥責他說：「你做的這是什麼夢呢？難道我和你母親、你哥哥們真要來俯伏於地，向你下拜嗎？」
