Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.I will turn Mount Seir into a desolate ruin; I will cut off from it the one who passes through or returns.

Now the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir are coming! When Israel came from the land of Egypt, you did not allow them to invade these lands. They bypassed them and did not destroy them.

Do not be hostile toward them, because I am not giving you any of their land, not even a footprint, for I have given Mount Seir as an inheritance for Esau.
