Then Jacob asked, saying,“ Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said,“ Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there.

雅各问他说：“请将你的名告诉我。”那人说：“何必问我的名？”于是在那里给雅各祝福。

雅各问他说：“请告诉我你的名字。”那人说：“何必问我的名字呢？”于是他在那里为雅各祝福。

雅各问他说：“请告诉我你的名字。”那人说：“何必问我的名字呢？”于是他在那里为雅各祝福。

雅各说：“请你告诉我你的名字。”那人说：“你为什么问我的名字？”他就在那里给雅各祝福。

雅各问他，说：“请把你的名告诉我。”那人回答：“为什么问我的名呢？”他就在那里给雅各祝福。

雅各问他说：“请把你的名字告诉我。”那人说：“为什么要问我的名字呢？”他就在那里祝福了雅各。

雅各問他說：「請將你的名告訴我。」那人說：「何必問我的名？」於是在那裏給雅各祝福。

雅各問他說：「請告訴我你的名字。」那人說：「何必問我的名字呢？」於是他在那裏為雅各祝福。

雅各問他說：「請告訴我你的名字。」那人說：「何必問我的名字呢？」於是他在那裏為雅各祝福。

雅各說：「請你告訴我你的名字。」那人說：「你為什麼問我的名字？」他就在那裡給雅各祝福。

雅各問他，說：“請把你的名告訴我。”那人回答：“為甚麼問我的名呢？”他就在那裡給雅各祝福。

雅各問說：『請將你的名告訴我。』那人說：『你為甚麼問我的名？』他就在那裏給雅各祝福。

雅各問他說：「請把你的名字告訴我。」那人說：「為什麼要問我的名字呢？」他就在那裡祝福了雅各。

雅各曰、請以爾名告我、曰、曷問我名、遂在彼為之祝嘏、

雅各曰、請以爾名告我。曰、曷問我名。遂在彼錫嘏。

雅各問曰、請以爾名告我、曰、何問我名、遂在彼為雅各祝福、

Jacob said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he replied,“ Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.

Jacob said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he replied,“ Why do you want to know my name?” Then he blessed Jacob there.

Then Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” But he said,“ Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him.

“ Please tell me your name,” Jacob said.“ Why do you want to know my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

Then Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” But he answered,“ Why do you ask my name?” And he blessed him there.

And Jacob asked him and said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he said,“ Why is it that you ask my name?” And he blessed him there.

And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

Then Jacob asked Him,“ Please tell me Your name.” But He answered,“ Why do you ask My name?” And He blessed him there.

And Jacob asked[ him], and said, Tell[ me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore[ is] it[ that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

Then Jacob asked,“ Please tell me your name.”“ Why do you ask my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” He said,“ Why is it that you ask what my name is?” He blessed him there.

And the Angel of the Lord said to Manoah,“ Though you detain Me, I will not eat your food. But if you offer a burnt offering, you must offer it to the Lord.”( For Manoah did not know He was the Angel of the Lord.)Then Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord,“ What is Your name, that when Your words come to pass we may honor You?”And the Angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?”

And behold, the Lord stood above it and said:“ I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

“ The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?

Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine.Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!”

“ May God Almighty bless you, And make you fruitful and multiply you, That you may be an assembly of peoples;And give you the blessing of Abraham, To you and your descendants with you, That you may inherit the land In which you are a stranger, Which God gave to Abraham.”

And He said,“ Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me!”So He said to him,“ What is your name?” He said,“ Jacob.”

And the angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.

“ Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?
