Then the man said,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then the man said,“ Let me go. It is morning.” But Jacob replied,“ I won’t let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said,“ Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said to Jacob,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” But he said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

And He said,“ Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Then He said to Jacob,“ Let Me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me.”

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.”“ I will not let you go,” Jacob replied,“ unless you bless me.”

The man said,“ Let me go, for the day breaks.” Jacob said,“ I won’t let you go unless you bless me.”

The Lord remembers us and will bless us: He will bless his people Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,he will bless those who fear the Lord— small and great alike. (niv)

He struggled with the angel and overcame him; he wept and begged for his favor. He found him at Bethel and talked with him there— (niv)

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (niv)

Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me. (niv)

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.He said:“ In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought.And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea,‘ Grant me justice against my adversary.’“ For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself,‘ Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think,yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”And the Lord said,“ Listen to what the unjust judge says.And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? (niv)

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel,“ Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. (niv)

Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.” (niv)

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (niv)

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. (niv)

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (niv)

The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us.May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. (niv)

Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel. Your hair is like royal tapestry; the king is held captive by its tresses. (niv)

No one calls on your name or strives to lay hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us and have given us over to our sins. (niv)

As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther.But they urged him strongly,“ Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them. (niv)

Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make you into a nation stronger and more numerous than they.” (niv)
