When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.

The man saw that he couldn’t win. So he touched the inside of Jacob’s hip. As Jacob wrestled with the man, Jacob’s hip was twisted.

When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.

When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket.

When the man saw that he could not defeat him, he struck Jacob’s hip socket as they wrestled and dislocated his hip.

When the man saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated while he wrestled with him.

因此，以色列人不吃大腿窝的筋，直到今日，因为那人摸了雅各大腿窝的筋。

至于我，我凡事顺利，就说：“我永不动摇。”耶和华啊，你曾施恩，使我稳固如山；你转脸不顾，我就惊惶。

虫子雅各，以色列人哪，不要害怕！我必帮助你；救赎你的是以色列的圣者。这是耶和华说的。

总要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。”

摩西对耶和华说：“埃及人必听见，因你曾施展大能，领这百姓从他们中间出来。埃及人要告诉这地的居民，他们已经听见你—耶和华是在这百姓中间，因为你—耶和华面对面显示自己，你的云彩停在他们以上。你日间在云柱中，夜间在火柱中，在他们的前面行。

有一个迦南妇人从那地方出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫之子，可怜我！我女儿被鬼缠得很苦。”耶稣却一言不答。门徒进前来，求他说：“这妇人在我们后头喊叫，请打发她走吧。”耶稣回答：“我奉差遣只到以色列家迷失的羊那里去。”那妇人来拜他，说：“主啊，帮帮我！”他回答：“拿孩子的饼丢给小狗吃是不妥的。”妇人说：“主啊，不错，可是小狗也吃它主人桌上掉下来的碎屑。”于是耶稣回答她说：“妇人，你的信心很大！照你所要的成全你吧。”从那时起，她的女儿就好了。

你要赶快逃到那城，因为你还没有到那里，我不能做什么。”因此那城名叫琐珥。

耶和华—以色列的圣者，就是造以色列的如此说：“难道我孩子的未来，你们能质问我，我手的工作，你们可以吩咐我吗？

耶稣又离开他们，第三次去祷告，说的话跟先前一样。

耶稣又对他们说：“你们中间谁有一个朋友半夜到他那里去，对他说：‘朋友！请借给我三个饼；因为我有一个朋友旅途中来到我这里，我没有东西招待他。’那人在里面回答：‘不要打扰我，门已经关了，孩子们也同我在床上了，我不能起来给你。’我告诉你们，虽不因他是朋友起来给他，也会因他不顾面子地直求，起来照他所需要的给他。
