Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”

雅各睡醒了來，就說：『永恆主居然在這地方，我竟不知道啊！』

雅各從睡眠中醒過來，說：「耶和華確實在這地方，我竟然不知道！」

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”

Jacob woke up from his sleep. Then he thought,“ The Lord is surely in this place. And I didn’t even know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said,“ Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ The Lord is certainly in this place, and I did not know it!”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place; and I knew it not.

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew[ it] not.

Then Jacob woke up and thought,“ Surely the LORD is in this place, but I did not realize it!”

Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said,“ Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”

“ Do not come any closer,” the Lord warned.“ Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.

The commander of the Lord’s army replied,“ Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did as he was told.

“ Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?

For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it.

God is awesome in his sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!

Make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.

“ Yet when he comes near, I cannot see him. When he moves by, I do not see him go.

Suddenly the Lord called out,“ Samuel!”“ Yes?” Samuel replied.“ What is it?”He got up and ran to Eli.“ Here I am. Did you call me?”“ I didn’t call you,” Eli replied.“ Go back to bed.” So he did.Then the Lord called out again,“ Samuel!” Again Samuel got up and went to Eli.“ Here I am. Did you call me?”“ I didn’t call you, my son,” Eli said.“ Go back to bed.”Samuel did not yet know the Lord because he had never had a message from the Lord before.
