Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

雅各睡醒了來，就說：『永恆主居然在這地方，我竟不知道啊！』

雅各從睡眠中醒過來，說：「耶和華確實在這地方，我竟然不知道！」

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”

Jacob woke up from his sleep. Then he thought,“ The Lord is surely in this place. And I didn’t even know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said,“ Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ The Lord is certainly in this place, and I did not know it!”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place; and I knew it not.

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew[ it] not.

Then Jacob woke up and thought,“ Surely the LORD is in this place, but I did not realize it!”

Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said,“ Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”

Then he said,“ Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

And the commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua,“ Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

“ Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?

For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it.

Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel— he is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Behold, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.

Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said,“ Here I am!”and ran to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But he said,“ I did not call; lie down again.” So he went and lay down.And the Lord called again,“ Samuel!” and Samuel arose and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But he said,“ I did not call, my son; lie down again.”Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.
