And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

亞伯拉罕對他的僕人、他家中的老者、那管理他所有的一切的、說：『請把手放在我的大腿下。

亞伯拉罕對管理他所有家業、家中最大的僕人說：「請你把手放在我大腿底下，

亞伯拉罕語其家宰、即司全業之老僕曰、爾其置手於我髀下、

亞伯拉罕謂治理全業之老僕曰、爾當置手於我髀下、

亞伯拉罕謂治理全業者、其家之老僕或作謂其家宰即理其全業之僕曰、爾當置手於我髀下、

He said to the senior servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had,“ Put your hand under my thigh.

The best servant in his house was in charge of everything Abraham had. Abraham said to him,“ Put your hand under my thigh.

And Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had charge of all that he had,“ Put your hand under my thigh,

One day Abraham said to his oldest servant, the man in charge of his household,“ Take an oath by putting your hand under my thigh.

Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his household who managed all he owned,“ Place your hand under my thigh,

Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household who was in charge of all that he owned,“ Please place your hand under my thigh,

So Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had,“ Please, put your hand under my thigh,

And Abraham said unto his servant, the elder of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his household who managed all he owned,“ Place your hand under my thigh,

Abraham said to his servant, the senior one in his household who was in charge of everything he had,“ Put your hand under my thigh

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all[ that] he had he put into his hand.And it came to pass from the time[ that] he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.

And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master[ were] in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.

And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men’s sacks[ with] food, as much as they can carry, and put every man’s money in his sack’s mouth.

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what[ is] with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;[ There is] none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou[ art] his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
