我愿你如今在这里指着神对我起誓，不要欺负我与我的儿子，并我的子孙。我怎样厚待了你，你也要照样厚待我与你所寄居这地的民。”

我愿你如今在这里指着上帝对我起誓，不要亏待我和我的儿子，以及我的子孙。我怎样忠诚待你，你也要照样忠诚待我和你所寄居的这地。”

我愿你如今在这里指着神对我起誓，不要亏待我和我的儿子，以及我的子孙。我怎样忠诚待你，你也要照样忠诚待我和你所寄居的这地。”

现在请你在这里当着上帝的面向我起誓，你不会欺骗我和我的子孙后代。我怎样善待你，请你也同样善待我以及你所寄居之地的百姓。”

现在你要在这里指着神对我起誓，你不会以诡诈待我和我的子子孙孙。我怎样恩待了你，你也要怎样恩待我和你寄居的地方。”

如今請在這裏指着上帝對我起誓：你不要以詐偽待我和我的苗裔及後代；我怎樣厚待了你，你也要怎樣厚待我、和你所寄居的這地。

今汝在此、當指上帝而誓、毋欺我暨我子孫、依我所厚待爾者、待我及爾所旅之邦、

今當指上帝以誓、毋欺我及我子孫、以我所厚待爾者、爾亦如是待我、以及爾所旅斯土之民。

今在此、當指天主以誓、毋向我及我子我孫負心、我如何厚待爾、爾亦如何厚待我、及爾所旅之地、

Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or my descendants. Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you.”

Now make a promise to me here while God is watching. Give me your word that you will treat me fairly. Promise that you will treat my children and their children the same way. I’ve been kind to you. Now you be kind to me and the country where you are living as an outsider.”

Now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my descendants or with my posterity, but as I have dealt kindly with you, so you will deal with me and with the land where you have sojourned.”

“ Swear to me in God’s name that you will never deceive me, my children, or any of my descendants. I have been loyal to you, so now swear that you will be loyal to me and to this country where you are living as a foreigner.”

Swear to me by God here and now, that you will not break an agreement with me or with my children and descendants. As I have been loyal to you, so you will be loyal to me and to the country where you are a resident alien.”

so now, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my offspring or with my descendants, but according to the kindness that I have shown to you, you shall show to me and to the land in which you have resided.”

Now therefore, swear to me by God that you will not deal falsely with me, with my offspring, or with my posterity; but that according to the kindness that I have done to you, you will do to me and to the land in which you have dwelt.”

now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now swear to me right here in God’s name that you will not deceive me, my children, or my descendants. Show me, and the land where you are staying, the same loyalty that I have shown you.”

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

亞比米勒帶來了羊群和牛群、男僕和婢女，送給亞伯拉罕，又把亞伯拉罕的妻子撒拉歸還給他。

人本來指著比自己更大的起誓；對他們，所起的誓就是了結一切爭執的確據；

他們說：「我們確實看見耶和華與你同在，就想我們之間應該有一個誓約，就在你和我們之間。讓我們與你立約：

約拿單因著對大衛的愛，就讓大衛再次起誓，因為他愛大衛如同愛自己的性命。

我要你指著耶和華——天和地的神起誓，不可從我所住的迦南，為我的兒子娶他們的女兒為妻；

我求告神為我的靈魂見證：我沒有再往哥林多去，是因為顧惜你們。

現在你要指著耶和華向我起誓，絕不剪除我的後裔，絕不從我父家除滅我的名。」於是大衛向掃羅起誓，掃羅就回自己的家去，大衛和他的部下也回要塞去了。

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：任何屬於你的東西，就是一根線、一根鞋帶，我也絕不會拿，以免你說：『是我使亞伯蘭富有。』

如果我父親有意要加害你，而我不告訴你，不送你平安地離開，就願耶和華處置約拿單，重重地處置！願耶和華與你同在，像他曾與我父親同在那樣。

來吧，現在讓你我二人立約，作你我之間的見證。」

約拿單對大衛說：「平平安安地去吧！我們兩人已經指著耶和華的名起誓說：『願耶和華在你我之間、我的後裔與你的後裔之間作證，直到永遠。』」於是大衛起身離去，約拿單也回城去了。

大衛問他：「你願意帶我下到匪徒那裡嗎？」他回答：「如果你指著神向我起誓，絕不殺我，也絕不把我交在我主人手中，我就帶你下到匪徒那裡。」

願亞伯拉罕的神和拿鶴的神，就是他們父親的神，在你我之間做判斷。」雅各就指著他父親以撒所敬畏的那一位起誓。
