And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked?Peradventure there are fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

And Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maid- servants; and they bare children.For Jehovah had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed, shall I not now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?

And God said unto him in the dream, Yea, I know that in the integrity of thy heart thou hast done this, and I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
