Then the LORD God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper corresponding to him.”

The Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

The Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

Yahweh God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts.For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm?And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.

A man should not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God. So too, woman is the glory of man.For man did not come from woman, but woman came from man.Neither was man created for the sake of woman, but woman for the sake of man.This is why a woman should have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, and man is not independent of woman.For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman, and all things come from God.

Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker partner, showing them honor as coheirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.

A woman is to learn quietly with full submission.I do not allow a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; instead, she is to remain quiet.For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

The man replied,“ The woman you gave to be with me— she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate.”

If any man thinks he is acting improperly toward the virgin he is engaged to, if she is getting beyond the usual age for marriage, and he feels he should marry— he can do what he wants. He is not sinning; they can get married.
