荊棘回答說，『倘若你們誠心立我為你們的王，就投靠在我的蔭下吧；不然，願火從荊棘中冒出來吞噬黎巴嫩的香柏樹。』

把你們的食物分給饑餓的人，接待無家可歸的窮人，送衣服給赤身露體的人，不躲避求助的親人。

為什麼你們不乾脆說：「我們作惡吧，好成就善事」？有人毀謗我們，說我們傳這種道理。這些人受審判是罪有應得！
